  1. Heck, I would settle for viable for SpB in pve.
  2. Because it's way more fun to play?
  3. Why don't more people play spellbreaker? It's probably the most fun spec in the game. kitten slaps. I understand it's not viable at the highest levels of play, but to be fair that's like 50 people. It's perfectly viable up into plat 1 yet I never see anyone play it. So many people picking up the snoozefest that is BS because it's flavor of the month should give Spellbreaker a chance.
  4. Am I crazy to think the banner that gives stab, super speed and resistance is going to be good for sPvp? All of that feels useful on a node. Especially against certain classes that spam weakness and blinds.
  5. I think it's hard for players who have been hyper competitive and dedicated to the game for a long time to actually understand why new players don't play pvp, or at least ranked pvp. I have a large group of friends, and a few guilds full of people very active in GW2. Everytime I ask them to play pvp or ranked I get some variation of 2 answers. 1. They can't play with more than one other friend/guildmate. Ranked anxiety is real and not having the option to play with your friends who you know won't flame you is a huge downside. Sure, you could say just 5 man queue unranked but the rewards for unranked are next to nothing, waste of time gold/progression wise. I KNOW that I could've gotten a few more people into pvp if we could've grouped as a 5 man within the guild and still get decent rewards or legendary progression while chilling with friends. 2. They aren't good and people are toxic. They just get instantly pounded into the dirt by players who've been playing much longer than them, and subsequently flamed into oblivion. I know this is a population issue where most of the players still here are vets, but if I could take my friends or guild mates along in a 5 stack then they wouldn't have to worry about the vitriol thrown at them by teammates and learn the game mode least.
  6. Anyone have an up to date Bladesworn build for sPvP? Metabattle is usually really slow to update and behind a bit. Looking for more recent builds to learn, and any tips on specific matchups are appreciated.
  7. Personally, I was fine with Harbi before they all started using death magic. Now they still deal a ton of damage while being alot harder to counter pressure. And people can argue about whether or not it's overpowered, but the sheer number of harbis in matches should tell you all you need to know.
  8. Hey all, trying to pick up condi mirage in pvp. My main classes are Spellbreaker and Rev. Gold 2/3 and using the metabattle build for context. I'm looking for advice on what to do when someone like a rev or willbender jumps onto me. It feels like I have no sustain. If I distort I lose all my clones, and then when I come out of distortion they're just on top of me. Portals cd is too long. Feels like I'm doomed the second someone looks at me. Really need some practical advice on how to survive in conquest as this class.
  9. Anyone have a link to the dom mirage build? Is it the same as metabattle? Recently swapped to mes for pvp for 5 ranked wins for an achieve on it, used to play mirage a fair bit a few years ago in pvp.
  10. Hi, I am a long time Guild Wars player looking for a Guild with mature, friendly players. I've only ever completed one raid wing before with friends and want to really dive into raiding and learn the rest of it. I have a fully geared berserker and I've previously raided in WoW as well. I work every third weekend so would like to join a Guild that runs things on fridays/Sundays preferably but I may be flexible to other schedules depending on needs. Mainly just looking for some friendly and patient individuals to enjoy the game and learn end game content with!
