  1. I love this solution for the most part. FFXIV does this but labeled (tank dps dps healer). However, it does make que times ridiculous at times when you can't find a healer. But I think something like this could be beneficial with the game currently as it is. However, I personally want this game to change in a big way, to allow theory builds to thrive more. I enjoy playing a game where anyone can do almost anything, and the builds are near endless. Or at the very least, truly customizable (while remaining viable - great). Which it sounds like they intend on doing that, although I have doubts it'll be that drastic. If they do something like that though, and balance things well, it'll solve all these problems IMO. Moa is just one of plenty of issues in this game.
  2. This happens a lot. but there are also times when people literally go AFK right at the beginning before even trying. even typing basically letting us know they're just leeching for daily. hell half the time they literally just say that. "what's the point in trying? I get my daily either way"
  3. How is this necessary? I finally come up with a build that I feel decent in, and now this. At least give us an increase in the defensive buff when our pet us untamed. How is this balancing? This just doesn't make any sense to me. This class needs to be reworked so bad and it's just catching nerf strays. Frustrating. I can't really find any other class that I actually enjoy playing. At least not as much as Ranger. Ranger Vow of the Untamed: Reduced outgoing damage bonus from 15% to 10% in PvP only. Ferocious Symbiosis: Reduced damage bonus per stack from 3% to 2% in PvP only.
  4. I'll stick with speaking up about how dumb it is and hope it gets changed. Because it is dumb. It doesn't make sense for the pvp in this game. I can't imagine the outrage there would be if Ranger had this or anything remotely similar at their disposal lmao because we all know it wouldn't last.

So while we're in a 1v2 or there's just a larger skirmish going on it's just all good to get turned into a stupid Moa and have the game be ruined for us? nah I want to play the character I built for PVP. Not a Moa lmao It's incredibly dumb and it's really unnecessary. Again, turn it into a CC in which we can break out of like any other CC. It shouldn't change our hotbars at all.
  6. Except maul is INCREDIBLY slow and telegraphed, and .... just does damage + vulnerability (AOO if you have it spec'd). This isn't remotely comparable. I also can't just turn stealth and run around. As a ranger our stealth options only occur under special conditions and only last a few seconds. Literally Moa lasts longer than even our stealth lol This just is not comparable. At all. This ain't it

  8. Just stay away from mesmers apparently. learned that the hard way yesterday. 100% immune to conditions until they're under 75% hp. Man I wish rangers got half the good stuff (without having to sacrificing so much) like this.

  10. It just gets worse. I'm only gold 2 so I'd imagine that it gets better once you move up. However, it's impossible to move up when even ONE person goes AFK in a ranked match, let alone 3. Please get rid of the dailies for ranked (can still keep them for unranked.... which would give people an incentive to play an unranked match or a few). Or, give harsh penalties for people who go AFK during ranked matches (after 3 times in a short period of time, say a week). If there is a way to distinguish who is just going AFK because they don't feel like participating because they're losing, or just sitting around collecting their dailies, then give them a ranked ban for 6 months. Account wide. Or, simply reworked dailies to where it's literally impossible for people to be awarded for going AFK. Base them off top damage, kills, offense, defense, or healing. This should encourage people to get better, instead of just give up and collect a participation award. Another idea, is to stop basing our ranks off wins/losses. You don't allow us to Que 5 for 5v5 ranked pvp (which is really odd to me), but then you base our rank off wins/losses. It just doesn't make sense to me. Base it on individual performance so that while 3 of my team mates go AFK, and I'm running around getting my face smashed in by 5 players who immediately CC me to death, I can at least get top damage or something so that my rank at least stays still rather than goes down after a ridiculous loss. I love the game, even as a Ranger in PVP, but it's really become frustrating dealing with this.
  11. Yeah this needs to change ASAP. At the very least, when we're turned into MOAs for 6 freaken seconds (which is a lifetime in GW2 PVP) we shouldn't take any damage or attack. Treat it as a typical CC, only give us are kitten hotbar so we can break the CC. This is one of the most broken abilities in this game. It's unavoidable that I can tell, and if you get morphed, you're dead 99% of the time as they can just burn you while you get next to nothing to survive.
  12. I've been playing for months with no connection issues at all. The past few weeks it seems, I've been getting disconnected (Code=7:11:3:202:101) while in a friends story instances, hanging out in the Hall of Memories PVP area, and immediately after a PVP match ends. I literally can't exit the PVP match. It shows the scores, then just kinda sits there until it gives me this error and knocks me back to the player selection screen. I've tried port forwarding all recommended ports for GW2 + steam (I am playing on steam). I have not noticed this in any other steam game, FWIW. Is anyone else having this issue, and has anyone come up with a fix yet?
  13. Yes and they are almost completely worthless the majority of the time. Literally. If your pet has a knockdown you can use it once. then they just start finishing you again and there is literally nothing else you can do lmao we can't teleport across the map, get back up almost instantly, we don't have access to anything that does considerable damage, and our best ability to get us up has a 6.5 second /recast before we even use it. It makes no sense. By the time we can begin to use it, it's way too late.
  14. Guild War Gods forgive me. I'm still learning the ways and I made the mistake of taking my pvp losses out on the forums. Please delete and lets move on.
