  1. The most obvious way to me would be to add Quickness to the Fire For Effect trait. You would then combo this with One In The Chamber, so your Quickness would come from using stolen skills and cantrips in quick succession. I imagine the rotation for such a build would be a modified version of the current BQoBK D/D rotation, replacing auto chain with a stolen skill or cantrip and using Shadow Meld instead of Cloak & Dagger when it's available. This seems the most likely way to make Quickness Deadeye work.
  2. That's not the same thing, equipment templates are for changing my actual combat stats, I want separates presets so I can save how I look independent of my stats. Like FFXIV's Glamour Plates or Monster Hunter's Layered Armor.
  3. Given how GW2 otherwise has an excellent cosmetics system, it's really weird that there's no system to save transmutations and dyes to a preset. The lack of one discourages experimentation, plus I'd imagine having one would lead to higher cosmetic sales on the gem store. It makes sense to have cosmetic loadouts from both a player and business perspective, so why don't we?
  4. Yes, but instead of putting them in existing PvP modes make a dedicated Mount Racing mode.
  5. Among the first pieces of GW2 content I ever saw were videos of people racing roller beetles in custom Guild Hall tracks. At the time I assumed this was an officially supported activity within the game, akin to GTA Online's stunt races. Imagine my immense disappointment when I finally played the game and learned that this was not the case. This is the MMO with a mount system that's so good it is the standard that other MMO mount systems are compared to, but outside of a few one-off time trials in the open world there's very little content that actually utilizes mount to their fullest potential. The countless Roller Beetle and Griffon videos on Youtube and Reddit show that there is a very high skill ceiling for these mounts, but nothing in the game rewards you for reaching that ceiling. And while Time Trials have leaderboards, it's no substitute for actual races against a player that's actually there. Literally just give us a mode that's a GW2-flavored Mario Kart and I'd be happy.
  6. Honestly I just want a way to grant group Quickness that doesn't involve stopping my rotation's flow every 24 seconds to spam banners.
  7. Simply change 1 trait (and buff another to compensate for the original's loss) Last Blaze changed to Aura of Rage: While in Berserk mode, pulse boons to yourself and nearby allies. Boons: Quickness, Fury, Might. This would allow Berserker to be a Quickness provider just by doing its normal rotation, and ideally the base duration of these boons should be such that 100% uptime of them should be possibly with a moderate investment into Boon Duration. Would also make it great for Solo builds, since self-providing Quickness is kind of a pain, and Berserker without Quickness just doesn't feel right to me. As a side note, Heat of the Soul should be buffed to include an effect that inflicts burning on critical hits, to compensate for the loss of Last Blaze on condi builds and to make condi builds synergize further with Smash Brawler.
  8. Without it losing 2-3 feels worse than losing 0-3. The 2 matches you won just waste your time and lower your pips-per-hour. In regular 5v5 the near victory bonus means you still get compensated for your time played as long as you give it your all, without it becomes more efficient to just throw the match if it becomes clear you're not gonna win.
  9. Berserker's PvE buffs are a step in the right direction, but I'll echo Jzaku's opinion that the 15% crit chance should be permanent instead of only in Berserk, so as to not have annoying RNG in Adrenaline generation between Berserks, especially for people running the Quickness version that has to use Banners instead of Rages. Other than that, I would also like for Decapitate to have a small amount of cleave, like maybe 3 targets in a small cone in front of you, just so it's not useless in encounters that have a lot of adds, such as the Siren's Reef Fractal or Keep Construct when you need to kill the ghosts on top of the boss.
  10. Hard agree that Power Berserker needs substantial buffs. I would also like some buffs to make Heal warrior viable (double the quickness on Warhorn 4, add a reliable source of party-wide protection, move around some of the support traits on Tactics and Discipline so they're not competing against each other.) As a QoL change, I would like effects that grant adrenaline to put you in combat so that the adrenaline you gained isn't immediately wasted. This is mostly for Longbow Berserker in WvW.
  11. IDEA: Make Fatal Frenzy also give 300 Precision in PvE; it would directly buff Power Berserker by letting it swap out Crit boosting upgrades for power boosting ones (Impact Sigil, Scholar Runes, more Berserker pieces) as well as improving the amount of Ferocity granted by Blood Reaction, and it would indirectly boost Condi Berserker via Wounding Precision, Bloodlust, and Furious.
  12. A very simple change that would make a huge difference is doubling the base Quickness on Warhorn 4 from 2s to 4s. This would make it possible to have 100% Quickness uptime with just Banner of Defense, freeing up a utility slot. I actually just put out another list of proposed changes to improve Heal Warrior on Reddit, which you can view here.
  13. 2 more thing, both concerning the Displine trait line: Change Vengeful Return to also make allies you revive have more health, and make reviving allies also have a chance of rallying you during Vengeance. Would make Heal Warrior have a niche of being able to recover from what would otherwise be a wipe. Change Heightened Focus to something that benefits a support build, since none of the Grandmaster traits in discipline are relevant to a support build and DPS builds always pick either Axe or Burst Mastery. Maybe a trait that makes burst skills grant barrier or boons?
  14. Right now Heal Warrior is not considered desirable, as it lacks critical boons and utilities that healers are expected to bring. In particular it lacks a way to provide protection, and to maintain Quickness uptime it has to use a minimum of 2 banners since the regen from Banner of Defense is non-negotiable, and because they have to be used off-cooldown you can't use the Stability from Banner of Tactics reactivly. Off the top of my head I can think of 3 changes to make Heal Warrior more viable: Double the Quickness duration on Warhorn 4; Assuming Doubled Standards and 100% Boon Duration, this will enable 100% Quickness uptime with just Banner of Defense, freeing up a utility slot for boss-specific utilities. Make Mending Might apply to allies; This would enable Warrior's many might-generating abilities to double as a mini-Regen. Make Spellbreaker's Guard Counter apply Protection to it's entire subgroup; This would give Warrior a way to provide Protection to it's party. Also consider increasing the duration since by Full Counter's nature being able to use it off-cooldown is unrealistic. Would also enable Heal Warrior to excel in fights with Tanking mechanics, cause let's be honest, have the class with highest base durability plus an entire spec based on blocking and countering damage being unable to tank is just wasted potential. What do you guys think?
  15. Right now Berserker is benching 35k and 37k for Power and Condi respectively, meanwhile both Bladesworn and Spellbreaker are benching 40k. Thematically Berserker is supposed to be the high damage spec, but right now it's the worst of Warrior's elite specs on terms of DPS.
  16. I already posted this to the GW2 subreddit, but I though I might as well share it here where the actual devs are more likely to see it. Berserker Right now the spec is way underpowered compared to Bladesworn and Spellbreaker, benching 37k for Condi and a pitiful 34k for Power. Ideally it should be buffed in a way that allows both Condi and Power versions to bench 40k to match Bladesworn and Spellbreaker. Decapitate Increase damage done, allow it to hit multiple enemies at once. Wild Blow Reduce cast and cooldown time to match Shattering Blow . Head Butt Reduce or remove self-stun Fatal Frenzy Increase Power & Condi damage granted. Make it also grant Precision. Bloody Roar Increase the damage multiplier. Basically Berserker's DPS issues can all be solved by just making the numbers bigger. Pretty much everything here is targeting Power Berserker, as that's the version I play, but if any Condi Berserker mains here have ideas on how to improve it, feel free to chime in. Heal Warrior This one's a bit more complicated, as it would require some traits to be reworked or even moved rather than just adjusting some numbers. Still, we all remember when Healsworn was an actually viable build until Anet killed it by making the Bladesworn elite no longer recharge Shouts. My proposed changes would hopefully make Heal Warrior viable again. Mending Might Make it so applying might to an ally heals them as well. Vigorous Shouts Phalanx Strength Swap one of these into Tier 2 so that they can be used at the same time. This combined with the Mending Might change would allow Warriors to have decent sustained healing while being able to save Shouts for when a burst of healing is needed. River's Flow Chang this to apply to outgoing healing. Lush Forest Remove or reduce the internal cooldown. These changes would allow Warrior's might generation to double as a pseudo-regen, which when combined with the actual Regen from Banner of Defense would compensate from Warrior's inability to provide Protection. Do the other Warrior mains here agree with these changes? What else would you guys like changed?
  17. You need to add "-provider Steam" before -usecoherant, it has to be BEFORE, put it after just gives you the same problem.
  18. I FOUND A FIX! Go to your gw2.exe in wherever you installed the game, create a shortcut to it, right click the shortcut and select Properties, and in the Target field at the end add -provider Steam -usecoherent . Specifically in that order. This will launch the game using the old web framework instead of the new Chromium one, which seems to be the source of the issue.
  19. How do I do this for the Steam version? Doing it directly to the exe gives me a screen with account name and password fields and no "log in with steam" button.
  20. Been having this problem since yesterday. I open the client to launch the game, and instead of going into the launcher it creates a black box on the desktop. After a few minutes the black box goes away and the regular launcher appears, but if fails to long in through Steam and a "The code you entered is invalid" box pops up. Please help me fix this, I have over 1,000 hours in the game and I don't want to lose all that progress! I'm trying to repair the game client right now according to these instructions ( https://help.guildwars2.com/hc/en-us/articles/201863008-Repairing-the-Game-Client ) But it's taking a really long time and seems to be stuck.
