  1. As others have stated, the visual clutter is a huge turnoff in this episode. Playing on the new map is generally just an unpleasant audiovisual experience. But more than that, I miss not just the content, but also the noticeable excitement across the playerbase, of having an expansion to look forward to. Living World has gotten stale at this point, and it just doesn't cut it anymore. I want something fresh and exciting, something I could sink my teeth into. Anet doubling down for bite-sized content chunks has made me not want to play the game anymore.
  2. To me the biggest disappointment is the game not having a clear future. I want an expansion that's on par with what PoF brought to the table, and Living World just isn't cutting it. It never was. Anet hasn't made any statements that would make me confident that the game would ever have something like PoF ever again, and without that assurance, I'm just not in the mood to play anymore. I've played the game since release, but the constant repetition has worn me down.
  3. I do want them to add a lot of underwater content (ideally a whole expansion featuring the largos race and underwater mounts), but for it to work I also want an underwater combat overhaul. And by underwater combat overhaul, I mean the enabling of all terrestrial weapons for all professions while underwater. As in all weapon skills, utility, healing and elite skills working underwater.
  4. Yep, I'm actually disappointed that this is missing. Working towards a fully pimped out home instance has become one of my favorite endgame activities in GW2. I'll take a new home instance node over a glider skin or back skin any day.
  5. Where are all the weapon skins? I've been waiting for the Caithe dagger skin for quite a while, but when I look at the store, there are usually no weapon skins on offer (other than the new wyvern scepter now). Why is weapon skins being on offer such a rarity nowadays?
  6. They actually did. They said so on Guild Chat. They removed the wings from the griffon, which was their base for what would eventually become the Warclaw.
  7. A lot of people do. MMORPGs have different player types that want to get different experiences out of their games. Most MMOs have a very large "explorer" population—players who tend to stick to soloable objectives and exploration, stuff they can do alone at their own pace. They typically don't like to play game modes that require organized grouping. GW2 caters to every player type but is especially welcoming to explorers, which means that a large portion of the playerbase prefers to do soloable content (or group content that requires little to no organization). a lot of the end-game contents were already soloable long before power creep came in, it's just how good you areAt the end of my last post where I said "soloable content", I really meant "content designed for solo play". My bad, I should have been more exact with my wording.

  9. Well, as it's been pointed out, GW2 already has challenging content intended for solo play, such as SAB, Queen's Gauntlet and LW bosses/achievements. It's just that some of us want more of it. Edit: ninja'd.
  10. Adding a solo mode to raids (with reduced/different rewards) would be a good way to add high-quality, repeatable, rewarding soloable end-game content. And the great thing about it is that they wouldn't need to develop it from scratch, since they could reuse maps, story, lore, voice acting, art assets, etc. from the 10-man versions.
  11. Please change the Permanent Black Lion Merchant Contract and Permanent Trading Post Express Contract, so that they can be used one after the other, without the need to wait 5 minutes or rezone in between each use. They should both work like the Permanent Bank Access Contract does, which does not summon an NPC, it just gives you instant access to the bank. Or, alternatively, give us the ability to unsummon the previous NPC by summoning a different one. Just please get rid of the frustrating 5 minute waiting time.
