  1. 1. NA 2. Dragonfall 3. Dragon's Claw 4. none specific 5. There were noticeably more people throughout the days rather than just at peak hours 6. I did not select a guild 7. I'm not in any guilds 8. I believe so. It helped too that there were more commanders in general rather than just the usual three-five same commanders on my server across the same few guilds 9. I didn't play much during the second week, but the first week felt great 10. The new variety of people to play with from someone like me who isn't in a guild. Having more commanders from other servers on my team was fun. 11. As a solo player, I think the restructuring beta was fine as I don't have a specific group of people I regularly play with
  2. Probably would be better for raids to be their own separate category away from PvE. I've never raided in this game though, so I have no ideas for objectives. Maybe CM strikes could be thrown into this hypocritical new category too; assuming their roughly the same difficulty (I've only done normal mode strikes, so correct me if I'm wrong if CM strikes are easier or harder than the raids).
  3. That's not entirely true with FFXIV. The graphics update coming in the expansion next summer will still be supporting the PS4 version. It's safe to assume however that Dawntrail will be the last expansion to support the PS4. That could also be a factor as to why the Xbox versions also coming next year are skipping the Xbox One in favor of just the Series X/S. The Xbox One would be wasted development time for hardware that's also outdated like the PS4; but also for a platform that never had players on it beforehand unlike the existing PS4 version.
  4. We also initially had much more variety in the PvE dailies, but I haven't seen half of the full possibilities since the first two weeks to a month since SoTO released. Iirc around the second month, I switched to both PvE and WvW, but I was noticing the lack of variety in my rotation before then which then prompted me to add WvW just to give me more options. Here's the list of possible Wizard's Vault dailies from the GW2 wiki
  5. I think it would do well for the game; although part of me thinks it's already too late for GW2 to come to console. FFXIV is coming to Xbox Series X/S next year, but that's a whole different situation since it's been proven successful on three different consoles previously (PS3, PS4, and PS5) I first started that game on PS4 before migrating my account to PC. That also raises another possible concern. Should the player base, economy, and accounts between PC and console versions of GW2 be merged like FFXIV's or separate like ESO (also separated between Xbox and PlayStation systems)?
  6. I've gone back to chase achievement items and fashion from past expansions, as well as finally working on a few legendaries. I finished getting the Prismatic Champion's Regalia a few days ago. Also slowly but surely ranking up in WvW for Warbringer. Still 245 ranks to go.... but it's still progress (most of the other materials I'm not worried about right now). For the SoTO essences, I wish there was something else to spend them on or at least some kind of converter so it doesn't go completely to waste. I don't remember if it's (still?) true that we'd need 10s of thousands of essences to craft the legendary armor, but I'd rather do other things in this game over farming rifts and convergences (the latter was fun, but again I can't do anything else with essences right now). I'd probably start raiding in this game to acquire legendary armor instead of rifts and convergences. I think raids are supposed to give lots of other useful/profitable rewards along the way.
  7. For clarification, do these new daily objectives require players to be in the new SoTO areas? Or will there be objectives in the zones of core Tyria, HoT, PoF/IBS, and EoD? My concern is that newer players who are not playing content in the new SoTO areas yet will now be left without an alternative to the daily login bonuses.
  8. I'm still new to PoF's endgame, but I got my griffon almost two months ago. I'm not far enough into LWS4 yet to unlock the skyscale grind (currently at the start of ep 2, but I think it's supposed to be part of ep 6). I suppose if I want to attempt to draw parallels to the griffon; I'd gladly say that I wouldn't feel any more special for having obtained my griffon if the special vendor items cost a total of 50 gold instead of 250 gold. I currently don't see my other fellow griffon owners or skyscale owners who are farther into the game than I as special for simply owning those mounts. I would say I'd now just wait for the new expansion to start the unlock, but going of the description on the site suggests to me that the new easier unlock is tied behind the progressing the new expansion's campaign. I'm playing the story for the first time in order; so if that's the case I'll just try to unlock the skyscale current way once I reach LWS4 ep 6. Perhaps anyone here can also enlighten me since I genuinely don't know in relating to the news of this easier skyscale unlock. What's the general population like of players in IBS or EoD who haven't unlocked a skyscale? I'd imagine it to be a low amount, so the possibility of the easier skyscale unlock tied to the new campaign story seems less appealing to me because it wouldn't be relevant to me because of how I'm choosing to progress the game for the first time. I'll admit I'm naive on this matter, though so if its tied to the new campaign and would actually help a lot of players I'd be curious to know.
