  1. I find all the attempts to explain Casual and Harcore much more interesting.I think, neither casual nor hardcore-players are active here in the forum. Most of them are doing their own thing. While the majority are neither casual nor hardcore players here now, and try to describe these players mostly in a very disrespectful way ^^.A casual can walk through the game just as stressed as the hardcore players described here and vice versa. Especially when I see the people here on the forums who call themselves casual and get so stressed out over other people or gameplay. Just play the game the way you like it and let others play the way they like it. No one can decide for others how they have fun. And nobody should be told how to have fun.
  2. This whole discussion could be created as a comedy show xD. I mean, the TE put it well. "I don't care tbh" - But actually I am interested, otherwise I would not have opened the thread. I'm just surprised that everyone is against it (because everyone has to agree with me, buhu~) and now I pretend not to care and ignore every argument, while I cry inside. - .... ups
  3. In short, it's about getting 1 1 1 content.Because, besides raids and CM, everything is designed for dungeon-fractal difficulty. According to your statement, midtier content. Much is even easier.Where are your 100% Hardcore? So what's the problem with leaving these 1% to the people who like the "hardcore"? Maybe it's because my English is really not good~. But I'm not coming with right now ^^'''.
  4. Well, but... instead of targeting the one responsible, you're targeting each other. Trying to get each other's content broken. Because we know from the past what happens when you want things to be nerfed.Anet could easily create such midtier content. The question is, what is midtier for the large majority. For me as an individual raids are such midtier thing. HOT was great for me ... before everyone came and called it hardcore ...Well, at least after what's going on here in the forums, the majority wants easy content. No 1 1 1 content, but also no midtier content. Because ... sorry, but raids and other things are no 'extreme hardcore content'. Nothing in GW2 is hardcore~. And I just claim that I can say that as a moderate(middle-rate? What's the right word for that?) gamerin. I also have problems with things, die, ect. But gaming also involves adapting to things and learning ^^.And if someone needs weeks- in GW2 -to learn something ... that is for me personally a completely different story and has nothing to do with the game and its content.
  5. The thread is nicely meant, but you forget something. 90% of the people you address will not read it.The rest don't want to, or can't understand other people's problems and will always exaggerate that to the extreme ^^''.E.g. the point that Anet just can't manage to adapt a learning curve into the game. T1-t4 is a joke about that~. They make 99% only 1 1 1 content and then try to bring something heavy into the game. Well~, then everyone is surprised that it doesn't work ^^. And of course the players are to blame because they are so bad~ and don't want to adapt to this 1% of the game. On the other hand, it doesn't hurt anyone to just skip this 1%. I don't understand the mentality behind it. Just say, I can't, I'll try again later or leave it~.
  6. Nah, the combat system is pretty outdated and generic~. Which is not bad in itself. And the game itself is as hard or easy as the community wants it to be. I'm not a fan of Anets dead nerf's. The only content where I have problems, because I've only done it 2 times so far and I got a headache from the effect thunderstorms, was 100 CM. Everything else is ... Average content for a average community ^^''.And there's the thing, the majority of GW2's community are the legendary casuals and Anet simply adapts to them, because they bring the money.... More or less~. For relaxed 1 1 1 1 pushing, GW2 is wonderful. If I had a sleepless night again and too much promille in my blood, GW2 is the perfect game ^^.
  7. So when will it be okay to give credit where its due? There's a lot of problems but is it not okay to ever enjoy the game ever again because of that? Read again~
  8. That was addressed to the OT, a new player, without equip, without nothing ^^.
  9. Aaaaaand~ all the bad things are forgotten again. Why work on real content when people are jolly dancing for a ... cape xD.
  10. Have fun grinding for all these things. Write me a mail, when you start to play the game after all this.
  11. "Its a guild effort." I wonder how many guilds out there have enough people supporting their decorators ^^. In my guild 2-3 people have maxed scribing, while the rest have absolutely no interest in it and the rest in GW2 already costs enough, so you don't want to invest in unnecessary things. The nods are enough for most people. After that, only a few donate anything.Maybe it works in mass guilds, but in normal guilds it will take a long time. Or big effort from individual. But well, the guild system in GW2 is shit ^^''
  12. Sorry, but the skyscale isn't worth it at all. My opinion ^^. And Anet can't make the cattle more valuable, just like the Griffin. Then they would have to shorten the collection. So my tip. Just don't do the collection.I know a lot of people who don't have the Griffin. And who will never own the Skyscale either.
  13. I meant the armor sets from the gemshop. The ones that existed before Anet decided they were too time consuming.
  14. I would never buy a clothes set. Just think it's stupid to squeeze my char into ONE tightly connected thing where I don't like parts. But I bought the ears immediately. I wish they would do that more often. Miss the armor sets.
