  1. It's been the worst it's ever been so far. I'm from the UK and its unbelievable how they haven't diagnosed the issue and fixed it in the 4-5 months it's been happening
  2. You can contact the CS Team via the 'Support' link above/below. Good luck. I'll just leave and go play warframe for 3 months. Maybe they'll have it fixed by then. (I say maybe because its already been almost 4 months and a few big update patches since this thread was created notifying them of the issue. I guess the team were working on the next live story and taking their christmas holidays.) And what did the CS Team say?You are aware of the 'official' thread about the issue with the BL Trading Post, yes?I was not aware of an official thread and i didnt contact CS. I mean yes its annoying but whatever small amount i lose is negligible to what i make on TP per day. You might ask why im complaining if it doesnt bother me - its the principle of the matter. If i wanted to play a game that doesnt run very well there are loads of others i could choose from.

  4. Im starting to notice more often that my gold is vanishing into the ether when cancelling buy orders -- I'll either get the my money back 5 seconds later or not at all in some cases. I have to keep a constant eye on the bean counter when cancelling buy orders just to make sure I get my gold back :( Who do i complain to when my gold is not refunded?
  5. It happens for me with both instant sell/buy and custom orders For me I've seen an item disappear that I sold. Then it took a good 15 seconds for the green confirm window to appear, and then my coin appeared about 5 seconds after that. I did see something similar from the streamer guildwarsmonk. He sold a full stack (250) of Elder Wood Logs on the Trading Post, but he hit sell as soon as he could, but he only received 9 copper per wood log, instead of the going price at the time of 1 silver 53 copper each. I'm not sure where the extra coin went, or if the seller only got 9 copper worth back, but I thought it was worth mentioning. The only I have seen is just the basic error stating. "An error has occurred with your order." or something along those lines. My advice about this whole situation. Have them look into the server the trading post is using. It could be a poor connection or a sign of server failure (I've seen this 100's of times before a server crashes and has to be replaced). My guess though, is that the connection from server to game user is the actual cause, and that someone in the middle between locations is causing the problem. Considering most of Amazon's servers are over in Virginia, and usually have to pass through Chicago, IL. There has been a known history for the past few years with Chicago of poor connection for throughput traffic. I would suggest investigating around there. +1 though i dont get the "An error has occurred" message very often unless BLTC is REALLY REALLY tanking. In which case i just log off and go do something else.
  6. Well It seems like its gone back to being laggy as hell again :( It is happening with custom sell and buy orders (i never instantly buy or sell) Sometimes it gets 'stuck' when i placing items up for sale or if im just madly clicking the mouse to buy more than 250 of something (custom order)the lag seems to come and go. One moment its very responsive then the next second its back to being 'stuck' again for 3-5 seconds. Id say 3 out of 5 times it lags out. Sometimes i flick back to the main store page and some error comes out like 'Err: No NAME::' there was more to that but thats what i can remember atm. it doesnt really happen a lot but its happened quite a few times already
  7. @Gaile Gray.6029 I would just like to say, with the last patch there has been a HUGE improvement. Like i cant even begin to quantify how much of a slogfest that the TP was compared to how it is now. Night and day difference! Occasionally it does seem to lag out and im stuck waiting for my items to go up on TP or when i place a buy order but its a MASSIVE improvement to how it was previously. maybe the web team need to tweak a bit more.
  8. its every time i log in to GW2. Without fail. Been happening for a long time now.
  9. Almost a full month with no feedback from any of the mods or devs. I guess making skins and other useless items to sell for real money on BLTC must be more important and taking up most of their time.
  10. Problem still exists. I cant believe its taken them longer then a month to get to the bottom of this. the previous update kinda worked it was still laggy but a great improvement over the update that changed all the things with sigils or runes. Now its almost back to the same level. I just waiting for 5 seconds for items to be placed on the market every time i put something up.
  11. CS's do ask for tests, one sends them back but we never hear back from them again - unless we follow up and then they askfor the same test saying they never received it or they are 'working on it' and we, again, never hear back. I've sent in a few... notone was ever answered with 'ah, here's the problem' but they do ask for more and more tests or the same tests, more than once. So, we recently uncovered the reason for this. Our support site host seems to have changed how it handles "suspicious" attachments without notifying us, which has lead to some messages including perfectly safe attachments going missing. This doesn't always happen, but when it does we will not see your reply in the ticket thread we are working with you on, which is just as annoying to us as it is to you. We're working with them to get it corrected. But, for now, if you submit something with an attachment and don't receive a reply for some time: Please do not give up hope or assume we are ignoring you! Send a gentle reminder/followup to see if we received your attachment, and we can usually dig through the site's records and find what was sent. :)but you even deleted my comment about you not responding to when you received the attachment when I asked you to.... I cant follow it up because you people closed my ticket. What am i supposed to do?? Open up another ticket which will either be ignored or immediately closed again??? Can you not see how silly this is?
  12. Gotta love this.... http://img.techpowerup.org/180521/1803.png Still no response.
  13. I created a ticket 2days ago -- they accessed it after 8hrs but didnt say a single word and its not been touched for the last 18hrs... I mean, I know they are busy but a "hi, we're looking into it" would of been nice to show that they have seen my ticket. My experience of NCsoft CS has been rather poor at best throughout the years tbh. The only positive I take away from the whole experience is that I maybe need to deal with them once in a blue moon. As always with things like Customer Services. YMMV
  14. I wouldn't automatically blame Windows 10 / April for this. It could easily be GW2 that's doing something wrong that the previous builds of Windows tolerated better than April does. (There was a similar thing on iPhones - Apple released an update to iOS that made it less tolerant of a particular bug in apps, so those apps started crashing out and/or freezing. You'd think that was Apple's fault entirely, but the apps were buggy, and were doing something that the developer guides said not to do.) I would.... Lets not forget that GW2 and GW1 have both been out for years as well as Windows 10 (Windows 10 first debuted in 2015), I never had problems with either GW's on Windows 7 and I didnt have any problems on Windows 10 till i updated to 1803 Creators Update. One would assume that Both NCsoft of Microsoft would of had more than enough time to bug fix and optimise their code no?? Not to mention that Microsoft has a history of releasing updates for windows 10 that broke things. Hence why some tech folk call windows 10 users ' Glorified beta testers'. One would assume that it was the Windows update that borked everything no??? But go ahead pull the wool over your eyes and call GuildWars badly coded. I mean lets just make blind assumptions because we can right? Not automatically. Perhaps it is, perhaps it isn't. And if you say "I blame windows 10 entirely" like that, aren't you just making a blind assumption? The key point is that without access to the code behind GW2, we don't know enough to just come out and say that it is Microsoft's fault. My point about the iOS update was that Apple released a new update, and a list of apps were borked as a result. I know, because I used one of them. Shortly after, the app developer released a patch. Given that, who was at fault? Apple for enforcing their rules, or the app developers for breaking them? Now look at the Windows 10 versus GW1/GW2 situation: other games I've looked at don't do this. What's more likely? Two games do something dubious that's no longer supported fully by Windows, or an actual bug in Windows that only affects those two games?So.... Youre comparing some app coded in Java or C++ for a mobile OS thats made by mostly by anons -- the 'one-man-in his-bedroom' on a weekend type programmers who make an app which probably comes to a few kilobytes in code to Guildwars who had probably a team 10-20 if not more skilled and qualified programmers (and god knows how many animators) writing code for as a day job for a game that weighs way into the gigabytes, has multiple expansions on both games and probably made on a budget enough to buy a mansion in every major country in the world... With that kind of statement, Im not going to waste my time debating further with you as its clear that you live in a different world. All you need to know is the Windows update messed up guild wars as well as other non gaming apps. Google is rife with reports of Creators Update 1803 issues. but cool... if you think its the guildwars team that has coded the game badly, then more power to you. Dont forget your tinfoil hat on the way out.

  16. Have i pointed out that GW2 refuses to start when I have Windows 10 Update 1803 installed???
  17. I'll wait for the next update in June. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WannaCry_ransomware_attackOh its fine, I have a premium firewall/AV and i dont go clicking on everything in my inbox or the darkweb. I cant remember a single time in the last 10-15years that ive been infected by some malware or virus. Erryting gonna be alright, Erryting gonna be Ok, so dont worry, about a thing. -- as Bob Marley would say
  18. Welcome aboard brother!! I too am experiencing the same issue.... But for me GW2 kept on crashing everytime i hit the login button to load up the game. I got so fed up with it that I rolled back to Windows 1709. Problems went away but now the 'Enable Post Processing' option in GW1 is greyed out and it makes the game look funny. Ive updated my Nvidia drivers to the latest with no result so rolled them back again to the ones that I was using before that were working with everything on before I updated to 1803 and I still cant enable post processing...
