I had to completely close Trend and the launcher ran. I'm not even talking disabling the anti-virus, or using mute mode, or even adding Gw2 to the safe list. I had to QUIT the whole program. lol

Has anyone found a fix for their game launcher not running? I had previously "fixed" it by deleting the .tmp file from the game but every time the game has updated since the dx11 launch, I run into the same issue with the launcher just not opening at all. So the previous update (last Tuesday) it randomly worked. But with this update (yesterday) nothing I do has worked. I removed reshade, deleted .tmp file, ran -repair, -dx9, -dx11 etc and this time nothing makes this launcher run lol. Also disabled Trend as someone mentioned here but nada.

OK so I just deleted Gw2.tmp (or Gw2-64.tmp) and let it create another one and that worked for me for the downloader to run and run the update.

I also tried running -dx9 in the file path, as well as -dx11, -repair, -image and -verify Also tried starting with a clean bin and bin64 folder because I use reshade, none of it helped.

My game won't load either. I started playing Return To by just logging out of my character and back in but the moment I closed the client to actually update it, it won't open again, it looks like it tries to connect to the server and gives up so the downloader doesn't open. Edit: I tried deleting the local.dat file and it connected to the server, downloaded a 15MB local.dat file into the folder and proceeded to not open anyway lol

You guys, I knew we would be eventually heading to Cantha even though so many people were naysaying it. That was the only move that made sense! I'm sooo happy! I truly hope we do get Ritualists back, I'll soo abandon my main toon! AND here's hoping we can also choose to join the Kurzicks or the Luxon :)

I've noticed this a few days ago and thought maybe it would go away, some effect from the Anomaly or something else. So far I've experience this during Drakkar, Tequatl, Anomaly, Bounties. I did not see this during solo PvE play. It is extremely annoying though.

I see they brought back the Ritualist Staff but no Ritualist Outfit, is it ever going to come back? I don't even see it in outfit preview or anywhere :(.

I'd like to add that I finally got the Banners by Bear Shrine, there were in fact no banners involved and the patrol was actually Fallen. I had two other folks around so it was just enough for the essences. After that we killed a Champ if I remember, happened too fast :pensive: and I got the achievement.
