I got a feeling Nayos is actually dying, and Eparch is not eating his people but sacrificing the worst and most insubordinate of them to sustain the realm, and is trying to avoid general panic by not telling anyone he doesn't have to, which has created the impression that he is deliberately ruling by fear, which is really an unfortunate side-effect of the desperate measures he is employing to save the place. Where that possibility, if it is so goes is anyone's guess. I am not a fan of the callousness of the commander or the Astral Ward we are seeing more and more of, that really needs to be addressed.
  2. Vermillion Wings are still eating 30+ frames when looked at up close (say within melee range).
  3. Do any of the devs perchance, know if this setting can be split into Player Character Model Limit and Non Player Character model limit (both friendly and hostile)? Or is such a split unfeasible due to the way the setting was designed from the onset. It is clear that setting this to 'lowest' improves framerate significantly, but even clearer is that player models have a higher effect on the framerate than npc models. It would be nice to be able to optimize the game without losing elements of it by keeping the npc's visible and only hiding player models specifically, instead of the visual ghost towns we get when lowering this setting as it currently is. Aye, just spent 5h doing the CM trying to get the title ach, and every time someone got that platform and tried to do it, they got bounced off and died, thus failing a number of runs just due to the platform jank. They don't even have to lower it, just add a small ledge step to the right of the mushroom to aim for with the hook and then jump up to the platform from. Something that guarantees consistent approach, instead of relying on weird angling of the character momentum.

I do not know if anyone else is having this issue but whenever i attempt to use the Grappling Hook skill on the highest platform in the boss arena in Silent Surf, no matter whether i hook to the floor of the platform, or one of the edges, the hook 100% of the time pulls me to the platform, and then just before id reach it, the hook vanishes (no matter how close i try to stand, even when on the very nearest edge of the main platform) and instead of landing on the platform my character bounces off the side and dies. Something is wonky with that platform. All the other ones function fine.
  6. It would really be nice if we got clarification on whether we will start out by getting the relics for the runes we already have in active use.

The changes to functionality, be it on legendary or regular runes should only come with that separated functionality being given to the players at the very least for the runes they have actively in use for non legendary runes and fully for all runes for legendary rune users. Anything less is only going to prove very dissatisfying and mar the update.

Not even remotely good enough to compensate for the time, effort, stress, exhaustion, loss of functionality, and general hassle for repairing the damage to the effectiveness of the multiple builds and setups for those like me with 10 or more characters. If we get a guarantee that the runes we have slotted into gear on the day this system goes live will at least give us those rune's relics to start with, then, and only then will i say its an actual potential improvement to the game.

So, the way I'm reading into it, it sounds like the special effects armor runes have, like the one that summons a golem when you are in combat for example, will be removed and it'll be a.....process....to find that upgrade again? if that's the case it feels like a functionality is being removed without recompense....and a grind of sorts implemented to even hope to find that functionality and re-enable it again. At the very least we should be awarded the relics of the sets we have equipped from the get-go, and make any future changes require acquisition. (EDIT: fixed some typos)
  10. Connecting from europe to NA servers, connection error(s) detected, retrying... Been a while since servers crashed this badly, wonder whats up....hopefully nothing too disruptive. EDIT: this is about 5-10 minutes since posting, servers are back up. Awesome response time by the techs, good job!
  11. Also confirming, CEF is launching now on win 7, though there is definitely a longer initialization time on the launcher, coherent takes 5 seconds, chromium around 40 seconds. Also got the ERR_ABORTED message on Trade Post but second opening loaded it after 5-10 seconds and now loads it all within a 3 second limit. Thank you devs, great work!
  12. I'm starting to think we should start reporting users who come here to derail the thread by spamming it with variations of the ''get windows 10/11" messages. If you are not here to brainstorm ideas on how to resolve the issue on win7 itself or report the issue on your machine, i would kindly ask you to stop derailing the thread.

No changes on my end, CEF crashes when i try to log in, looking at it the CEF version in use is still 103.0.10.0 so i presume they are trying to get it to function in that version rather than changing to another, hopefully they can figure that out somehow. EDIT: ah i see, the patch was not related to CEF, thus no changes, understood, will wait patiently for this issue to get its turn.
  14. They have replied on reddit, quote: ''Well, 109.1.11 seems to be better (on Win 7), but I still occaisionally get an cef error message when switching characters. Nevertheless I was able to buy another character slot 🙂 Last time they were able to fix it quite quickly, so maybe it's better to use the -coherent option.'' So, yes, that was on windows 7.
