  1. From a business standpoint, a lot of revenue would be lost if say all existing moved to steam. But regardless of that it's likely their systems between the two games. Authentication, amongst other things. Perhaps an increase in revenue from steam can allow further improvements later. An alternative for existing accounts is to add GW2 as a non-steam game to bare the fruits of steams features. This has been a thing for years.
  2. Will add/message you on Discord, have a guy with us that could benefit from both our groups as far as coverage goes.
  3. It all depends on the mood. Ofcourse one might give a free pass to others doing dailies or bolting back to their groups if they don't initially attack but what triggers Red is Dead for that situation most is when you; give someone a free pass & as you carry on they turn, jump & try to kill you. Low rankers means nothing, generally because said low ranker likely has a fully geared main account waiting to go hulk smash on you for killing them. Genuine low ranks either pull a forest gump or barney the purple dinosaur and stick to you like glue. Mutual free passes are rare, i give them, more than i should but needless to say, they are there, just few & far between. End of the day, we're all walking loot bags and all we can do about it is prevent becoming a bag which is the fun part of it all :)
  4. While i get the whole stealth hate, i also appreciate that we have such a mechanic. It adds so much diversity to the already adaptive gameplay one can have using and facing it. Over the years, from my observation. It's the same in most cases, deer in headlights once they know a stealther is there. It saddens me that those of us who choose to outright kill said stealther or die trying, i'm happy regardless of the result. Some people just don't like to change the way they play and adapt to the given situation. Now you can dice it six ways to sunday but the fact remains we have to adapt in some way or continue dying. Take this from someone who has a number of disabilities hindering ones gameplay. Thanks to a few people, likes of Henrik, Supcutie, Gaile Grey, my lovely wife Character Slot "who has more necros than a bull can turd out" and others who have helped me along the way in some way, shape or form, I've adapted, grown & come a long way in many ways in all game modes. When i started WvW couldn't kill a paper bag, now, i can solo roam/group play comfortably and confidently on multiple classes with multiple different builds....that i adapt with on the fly during play. Despite this, always room for improvement. Adapt, learn & then play the way you want. There are many ways to dice a cake & eat it. Risk it all whole or take your time & slice it into manageable slices. Chew your food peoples. PS: It helps to dodge, really, it does. :) ~J
  5. It's fine as is. Although not including PvP in the process is generally odd. Legendary items should require effort & should have all been account bound from the get go to hold a little weight but since prestige is thrown out very few skins actually do. GW1 still takes a big dump on GW2 in terms of such things.
