I noticed they said it was fixed but mine have now just disappeared from my inventory. No Champion Marks in their place.

I gave the wrong answer. Should read the question first. I have been on GW2 since beta. GW1 before that. Tried WvW early on and got stomped in seconds. Decided to leave it for a while. Only came back to it about a year and a half ago.

So, what happened to me is that I noticed one in my inventory then I log off that character and logged in again as the same character and a second one appeared. I did it again and a third one appeared. I closed the game completely, logged back in and no more showed up but I still have those 3.

I received 3 of the trophy items in the linked image. I assume it is a glitch.

I was having this problem back in April when I tried a new ISP (Fido here in Canada). Always in an instance and mostly in cinematics. I don't have the file anymore but i did the gw2 diagnostics and found high ping times on several Anet servers some packet loss in the range of 10 to 50%. Since I hadn't cancelled the old service I went back to it (Virgin) and the diagnostics were fine. Back to the story line and no problems.

There will be plenty (like me) waiting or taking their time to complete this.

Metas exist for a reason. For example, paragraphs are also meta. You don't need them if you're able to convey thoughts and ideas in a creative manner, but in this case, well, I'm afraid it probably illustrates your issue way more than you think. The reason behind most people not wanting to read what you just wrote is pretty much the exact same reason why most people aren't going to want you in a squad. And this will be true regardless of actual skill. I'm not saying that whatever you wrote here is bad or wrong, because that's not true. But take a moment to read what you wrote out loud and decide if people are really going to take some time out for you. I read it. I think he makes a good point.
