  1. The main change turrets need, is to be invulnerable for 2 seconds after placing. I use heal turret in WvW, and basically everyday, in at least one fight, it dies before it overcharges, because it dies literally instantly on place to aoe.
  2. WvW Essence of Liquid Wrath duration bugged https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Essence_of_Liquid_Wrath This is either bugged or has a hidden skill split. The skill still lists the 5 sec base duration ingame in WvW, but the duration is actually ~3 or 2.5.
  3. This trait is perfectly fine. If you design a build around it, you can heal your allies for insane amounts, as well as yourself. I was getting 30-50% more healing from this trait than the regular heal.

  6. The video wouldn't show anything other than what I said - doesn't happen on my character. Still waiting on my friend to create a new character, but I know it was fixed on my character within the last few months, so I can only assume that Anet "fixed" it somehow, but it didn't affect all characters, like your one. Par for the course for anet.
  7. My character who had the bug was created Mar 12, 2023. Anyway, you say the bug is not fixed, so you post the video showing that. Do /age command in chat first. I asked a friend who has a free slot to make a new lvl 80 mechanist and see if the bug is there on brand new chars.
  8. For the record, this bug no longer works on the character who was affected by it. I just logged back into verify that it no longer works still. So, not sure what is causing it for some people. Unless it affects brand new characters, and they did a weird fix of existing characters, but not the root cause. I don't have any free character slots to verify that though. Or they just fixed it for some characters and not all, who knows.
  9. Can't nerf any of those until they visit celestial, and minstrel.
  10. What is even going on in this thread.... All the things people are complaining about have ~1.5 damage coefficient. Other than PBM, but stop standing next to exploding engis, and it won't be an issue. Get back to me when they fix thief twilight combo doing 25% more than all the skills you all are complaining about. And they can spam it 3-4 times in a row. That one has a full 2.0 coefficient, vs gunflame at 1.4.
  11. Yikes. These suggestions make it so much worse. I've actually being using shortbow in smallscale roaming in WvW, and it's actually not too bad. I don't even think it needs too many changes. Maybe buff numbers a bit. The 2 skill is pretty decent, because it is short cd, and gives decent barrier. Better than sand cascade on scourge. 3 skill should do 3 condi cleanse, with regen applied on the chain reaction. It should also be a water field. Dark field is kind of useless on support. 4 skill is actually not very good for a 20 sec cd. It just gives prot and aegis. The 5 skill should have a larger aoe. Also I would prefer if they went back to slow, and added immob on chain reaction. That short of a stun is completely useless in WvW where everyone has perma stab.
  12. Anyone know if downed state was changed recently? I've had multiple times recently where more than 1 player gets revived off an NPC kill. Or were NPCs never changed to only revive 1 player? Wiki is not clear on that point.
  13. Haha. Next they will add a breakbar mechanic like in Cosmic Observatory. Just down the entire area if the bar isn't broken.
  14. The blogpost for today has this for upcoming WvW changes on March 19th. "World vs. World—Lord Update: We’re modernizing the loadouts of castle, keep, and tower lords with the addition of a new channeled healing skill that aids objective defenders in combat, giving the lord a more active role in battle. Attackers will need to keep a close eye on the lord and break their defiance bar to minimize the support they’re able to provide. As a note, this is currently a stretch goal for the update and may need to shift out to a future update." Wonder how much of a heal/aoe that is. I can foresee the ram meta will be alive and well to help break the bar.
  15. The fact that they don't do same day fixes for obvious, easy fixes. Relic of the ice should not be doing 10-20k in WvW. (Edit, to clarify, it is doing 2x the amount it should. WvW is .5, but it is using pve, 1.0 damage) This type of behavior from Anet is why no one should take them seriously. I'm just talking about the many, many simple things they could fix. Things like DH bow getting nerfed in wvw from a 'pvp only change'. They take months to fix simple things, or just ignore them altogether.
