  1. Nothing wrong with using dagger 5 to kite around a camp either. Cloak and dagger works on supply (even if none is showing). There are better builds for clearing camps though as others point out. I played core s/d for quite a while when it was meta and cleared camps with even less dodges, but it still wasnt very enjoyable.
  2. A bit of a necro but I thought back to your post here and wanted to make sure you didnt miss it. The exclusive Roaring Dragon Glider, Mini Celestial Rooster, Watchwork Wings Package, and Springer Kit Backpack are currently available. You can now get your springer kit backpack from black lion statuettes! Cheers.
  3. "Roaming". Mentions supports. You lost me there pal.
  4. Talking about teammates and not enemy team. Thought that was common sense. This would increase quality of matches regardless. You're not skilled bc you can see the firebrand has signet so you know theyre support. Stop it.
  5. I would not say it does nothing. Though I do agree the ability to see a teammates rank would also be very beneficial and should be standard by this point as it is in many other competitive games.
  6. Either you are naive or don't have enough experience with internet games I'll tell you exatcly how this can go wrong "this guy is running an off meta build, we lost" or "we have 2 off meta builds, I'm not even leaving the base" I can see it as a standard behavior in low gold and below I'll not deny it, when I see a necro popping 4 pets I go on a "oh god" mode, and I kinda feel I lost before the match starts Depending on the player mindset he'll think either "I'll have to carry harder" or "we lost the game" Im neither of those things. I commented earlier saying toxicity was a concern of mine, but that is the fault of immature players and if utilized correctly this would improve quality of matches. Consistently toxic players should be punished accordingly and should never be a reason not to implement features that would otherwise improve quality of games.
  7. I fail to see how this would do anything but improve the quality of matches still. I hope it would change the matches. Because right now the quality of most is terrible. Anything else I can know about my teammates to understand situations they struggle in would be welcomed.
  8. I disagree. They can change their builds to not be light on condi cleanse before matches and not doing so is their fault entirely. I don't think its more work. You should be actively trying to win games from beginning to end. This is perfectly okay information in my opinion considering the phase is there to make plans with your team and adjust your builds to form a cohesive team.
  9. This is when I would see myself using it the most also. Before a game towards the end of the ready up phase when builds are more solidified. Or if I see my on my team losing to the condi mirage on the other team I can look at their build in down time to see if maybe they should swap nodes with me at a point if they wouldnt mind.
  10. You can. That is what I mean. You could do it anyways if you can copy it. So why not just make it a feature? Unless you are saying you think the dev time would be wasted to make it easier done. Which I'm not sure on the time it'd require of them so cant comment on that. A lot of people change their builds slightly on a matchup to matchup basis anyways. Based on enemy composition. If they don't adapt to it I'd like to know that as their teammate so I can help them out where they will be weak. I get your concern there though, but I'm not sure it would apply to a majority of players that would benefit. I would like to add the edited point in my original post was very much just an addition "why not" kind of idea and it would be largely beneficial to have everything but that aspect included even.
  11. That was not the "point" at all. The point was everything but that one sentence, but you stuck on to the part that literally says "Edit" that was added because why not. Why shouldnt I be able to. I explained the point of it entirely before that. To see allies strengths and weaknesses so I can better assist them in game. Thanks for your replies though I guess. The edit was there to say that it might as well be a feature at this point. Take out the Edit and you''ll have the point of my post. Which I felt was quite obvious.
  12. Thanks for actually reading. I was concerned about potential toxicity, but I feel it could improve quality of matches if used properly.
  13. Lol what. Do you not read well? I dont need others builds, but it doesn't mean I shouldn't be able to look at my teammates. The point wasnt to get their build to use, but if it was implemented I'm not sure of a reason why you shouldn't be able to copy form inspection screen. Looking forward to you reading one sentence out of this and commenting something irrelevant again. I dont think its too ridiculous for me to be able to see what my teammates are playing before/during a game. So good question. Why not?
  14. My suggestion is to allow us to inspect our teammates builds in a match. Whether that be ranked or unranked. I can't think of a downside to being able to see what my allies are playing and it will let me better know their builds strengths and weaknesses so I can assist them as needed. This could be implemented in one of three ways. -The standard right click to inspect in the party UI.or-A new button added to the score UI beside your teammates.or-Hovering over a teammate in the score UI shows the same style as when you hover over/click a build link that has been shared in chat Showing a quick glance at their build/traits. If I'm not mistaken there is currently a bug when spectating that causes a crash when inspecting builds. It doesn't happen every time but it does seem to happen semi-frequently. This would need to be addressed if it would effect this prior to it being implemented. Edit: Another idea that could be implemented alongside this is to allow for an option to "Copy" their build via a template link. So that we can add it to our own templates should we wish to try it in the future. Thoughts? Suggestions on how it could be better implemented?
  15. I've always thought it would be nice if they sold armor based on your rank for wvw currency. Even if it was a skin. Example:Gold Invader - Gold Helm can be purchased for WvW currencyGold Raider - Gold ShouldersGold Scout - Gold ChestGold Squire - Gold HandsGold Knight - Gold LegsGold Colonel - Gold Feet -This rewards pieces every other named rank starting with the first. *Gold Colonel is 4 ranks off of the highest gold rank. At the gold level this would give you 400 WvW ranks before you reach Platinum Invader to proudly wear your armor skins. You can have them cost more as ranks increase as well since the time to gain ranks goes up and you'll inevitably be playing more and receiving more currency to achieve them. Other Ideas could include adding weapons for ranks or perhaps even just offering tickets that can be exchanged for material caches or clovers. Something that would increase the rewards in a way appropriate to the time put in. Higher rank achieved = more tickets = more material caches that -you- choose from. This leaves the players with more choice in the rewards.
  16. There are a few keybinds that seem to be hard coded and baked into the game regardless of the players preferences. I'll mention two now. One we can control somewhat and the other we have no control over. Lets start with the one we can control. Call Target - So for call target the player is given an option to set a keybind for this which is great. Mine is Ctrl + T. The problem is that hard coded into the game for the same function is ctrl + left click. Which cant be unbound and functions regardless of the keybind the player has set. This is redundant. Annoying for me at times and I'm not sure why it is is necessary. I'd suggest removing this functionality as the player can set the keybind to that if they wish. Ping/Writing on the Map - This one really annoys me. Its bound to shift by default. Im a shift to dodge person. I'm sure I'm not the only one. It is rather annoying that to write or ping on the map I have to either burn a dodge or jump before doing it so that the dodge does not get used. I am not sure why we do not have the option to change the button used to interact with the map but I would like to suggest a new keybind option added to support this. Does anyone know of any other keybinds you'd like to see altered or changed? Perhaps keybind options added?
  17. I'm not so sure. It said the ability to add a 2nd weapon would be in the hero panel UI I thought. Which your weapon selection for pvp is not, but lets all just wait and see :)
  18. Hiya! I'm aware of the thread. I was more interested in the circumstances that led people to miss out and the time they'd waited as I had my own personal circumstances. Who knows maybe I can help someone get their item one day if theyre still missing out to circumstance.
  19. That is funny you say that about the springer kit back item. I started playing almost a year ago to date and my first character was a warrior. I believe I played up to level 52 as F2P entirely. I got a key from doing my story back then and I wasnt even sure what they were in full. Pulled springer kit back out on my first key ever. Cant remember if it was an unlock or what that got it though.
  20. Which gem store item or items have you been waiting to return and for how long? I more recently finished collecting the foefire pieces. I waited a long time as the first time I saw them I didn't have the gold to purchase and the second time I missed the sale entirely! I try to purchase with gold as often as possible. Just curious what the rest of you are keeping an eye on and what items return more rarely.
  21. As someone who doesnt like the warclaw and never wanted it I would love to see it go away, but since it won't I'd have to say its in a fairly good place to please everyone. I'd like to see it be effected by some CC but don't think that would pass. Health could be reduced and still be fine likely but also unlikely to happen. The only thing Id like to see I think could happen is the removal of boons effecting mounts. I know they made mount4 ability unblockable but that should not have been the fix. Aegis just should not effect the mount at all.
  22. Lol. Not all roamers are gankers. Just because you die to a solo player doesnt mean you were ganked. Stop being farmable and you wont be farmed. I play by myself most of the time. Sometimes up to two others. I will fight most groups of three with or without them. Sometimes more but anything past that starts to get exponentially more unwinnable due to even just random floating damage. Use terrain and kite more. A lot of times if there are three of us we will run up to one person and two of us will stay on our mounts and let the other have the 1v1. I feel the way we handle it is better than 3v1ing someone, but if you're taking an objective youre fair game for the 3v1. Just learn to accept it and move on. People will band together if they enjoy that more and that is okay. I don't expect everyone to roam or duel and I don't expect everyone to zerg. Just consider the fun of others when you have your own fun and we'll all be okay. I see more and more people waypointing from 1 person yet they still run around alone. You know the type to WP the moment you head towards them. I just wonder if those people would have more fun with a group and how long they'll stay around if they don't find one. I'd prefer not to get ran over by a zerg, but I'd also prefer for that person to join the zerg or havoc group before they quit playing because they find themselves overwhelmed alone. Just remember that not everyone has the same skill or ability and that them playing how they have fun is better than them not playing at all.
  23. Do you have any actual input? Id rather fight vs more damage that is easier to dodge than clone spam personally.
