Suggestion: Reward Bait instead of Fillets for Fishing Daily

The title pretty much somes it up. I can get fish fillets by the bucketful just fishing anywhere. If we could get a handful of some of the more interesting bait for doing the fishing daily, that'd feel like a much more fun reward.

I thought that with enough level in Chef, one could craft bait?  If so, then your suggestion would seem to run counter to design.

Ah, this is not something I've come across. Where did you find that?

As a chef, you can definitely craft food that will give fishing power.

It would be really weird if we can craft grubs, scorpions and mackerel with the chef discipline.

Near as I can tell, nope. Bait is only available through vendors or breaking down fish. 🐟Some people have put forth suggestions about adding bait as rewards for the fishing competitions, but OP's suggestion sounds good too.
