I had that issue with one of PoF's story quests a while ago where it kept dcing me near the end, I repaired the .dat and it worked fine since. Could be the same issue for you. The point is they have the technology from GW1 to restore connection to an instance. Honestly this should have been implemented since this game went into beta.
