Do you think power alacrity soulbeast would work?

It’s the same as regular powerbeast, but we take diviner’s gear, give up one spec for nature magic, and take three spirits. We can still use sic em and one wolf pack and cast the spirits when the burst is on cooldown. I feel like the problem would be spirits dying, but is this a valid option for dps alacrity that can be taken with heal brand?

Of course no boon dps build will do as much as their full dps counterpart. You have to compare it to other boon dps builds.

The nature magic trait has bountiful hunter to lower the trade off of switching out of a dps trait. Diviner’s gear is also more stat effective for being four stats instead of a three stat set. Other boon dps builds have to take diviners or ritualists so I don’t see why it would be the deal breaker here.

The main bulk of the soulbeast damage is still here, you still have ferocious pet stats, soul beast elite spec stats, sic em, whirling defense, owp, longbow and axe skills. Of course you’re gonna lose some stats in exchange for being a buffer but why would you go full dps if you don’t. The trade offs are particularly minimized because the soulbeast dps comes in bursts and all the important skills are still there.

No, it's still too much of a loss. Soulbeast LOVES it's traits from both beastmastery and skirmishing- the burst drops too. No vicious quarry, so less crit damage, no hunter's tactics, so less strike damage and crit chance, or 20% less stats from beastmastery loss and less ferocity and longer axe cooldowns from Honed axes.

Is it possible? Yeah, sure. Is it good? No. You'd need moa stance anyways in order to make it work, so you're strapped for utility slots anyways.

Would it work? Yes.
Would it be good? Nah.

Every other Alac build is better than you, even Untamed.
Also your healer has to babysit the spirits so they don't die or you lose the alac. (Untamed can get back the spirit CD before the alac dies)

You would need to go with storm, MM, NM and remorseless.
you would need additional sources of cleanses, aside from cleanse on dodge trait (once every 10s another limitation I don’t get). Probably you would do better with cleanse sigil, wildborne notes and the minor clarion bond trait from mm.

marauder, captain  or celestial for stats. You would play something closer to boonbeast with extra punch due to remorseless trait with GS and Axe Mainhand. Your burst would come from AOO + remorseless refresh due storm.
you could equip sicem for extra punch. You would not have the CD reduction i the shout but it would bring your numbers up.

All this while the pulses are from the soulbeast and not the spirits obviously. You can drop the spirit away and cast the active when you need the extra delayed and clunky interrupt and getting the nice CD reduction in the beast skills/ maul/ winters bite.

this is from a wvw perspective. Pve who cares what you bring in anyway.
