Unknown Bladesworn issue?

During the Pavillion Ring fights during this years Festival of the Four Winds (and only the ring fights) I am unable to use F1 and F2 skills as a Bladesworn. When I use F1 to switch to Unsheathe Gunsaber, it instantly switches back to my main weapon. When I use F2 to Dragon Trigger it does the same thing, except I'm still in animation.

 

It seems bugged and out of place to be intentional, plus I haven't heard anyone else say anything about it. I have restarted my game and pc, still same result. Any Bladesworns out there experiencing this issue?

Yes I've just experienced the same in Queen's Gauntlet. The moment i start charging F2, it switches back to my axe/pistol. After charging it all the way up and hitting 1, it just uses regular auto attacks.

Same here, put a bug report in yesterday but so far I've seen 5 reports of it on the forums. And one of them was mine. Nice to see bladesworn is well represented in the game.

I've had the same experience as well, I hope this is a bug and not intentional, I don't see how it possibly could be. Hope Anet addresses it quickly. I'd like to get back to bashing Arena Bosses!

I think it has to do with the fact that the gunblade is a bundle, and you are forced to drop them in the arena.

Bladesworn is essentially unusable in the queen's gauntlet thanks to this. You give up both your second weapon set and your burst skills along with their associated traits but can't use the gunsaber or dragon trigger.

Glad to know it wasn't just me having this issue with my Bladesworn.
