Danis.6079
Hello everyone! As u all may have noticed, most of the power core weapons recieved some extra dmg. In the case of sword, tho, its seem to have been completely forgotten. In renegade, it does little damage to be a competitive power spec (tho many would argue its a condi spec, but we should be able to choose if play it power or condi renegade anyway). In vindicator, its almost better to ignore it, since GS deals a lot of more dmg (and its being buffed now, so no point to switch to sword). Arenanet should really buff the damage of this power weapon, or at least of traits that affects it (or maybe a mix of both). What are your thoughs? Forgotten Legend.9281
this would be a good time to revisit the Devastation line's PvE nerfs to the siphon traits, too. And the nerf to traited offhand damage. And possibly even adding 2 more hits to sword 3 in PvE ( it was originally 7-hit ). Maybe add more fury to sword skills. (would synergize with Rolling Mists!) anyway, after all the recent PvE buffs, sword DOES seem to need something in PvE to compete with greatsword now... 2

Any rev has Perma fury because of invocation, and if not enough trait in devastation, no need for fury on weapon skills
Angesombre.4630
It's mostly because of what they changed in the features that it lost power.
