Am i allowed to transfer items between accounts?

I have a GW2 non-steam account, and another one on steam. I'd like to know if i can freely transfer items between these accounts and not trigger something that will get either of them banned.

Yes you can.

There's a restriction on how much gold you can send, but it's very high (something like 500g per week) so it's unlikely to be a problem.

If you're routinely sending large volumes or valuable items to one account it might be flagged as a possible gold seller and potentially even banned, but if that happens you can contact Customer Support, explain they're both your accounts and get it reversed. But that's very unlikely. I've only heard of mistakes like that happening when someone was handing out the prizes for a community event so they were receiving and redistributing thousands of gold worth of items in a short space of time. I think it's unlikely most players would have that much stuff to transfer to a second account.

You can also place things in a guild bank that your accounts have access to and transfer items that way. It's one of the main ways people with multiple accounts transfer goods from one to another.
