Dib.4612
Replace 'Pack Alpha' with 'Fortifying Bond' from Nature Magic and rather than limiting the duration of copied boons, make it work like Mechanists 'Shift Signet'. Furthermore, improve the stats on our pets so that they can rival Mechs! For example, on a power mech in PVE, the mechs power is 2240, its precision 2037 and its ferocity 1026. (thanks person in Arborstone 🙂 ) While a rangers cat WITH Pack Alpha has 1674 power, 2361 precision and 480 ferocity. So either increase the base stats on them by a lot, or add stat inheritence to 'Fortifying Bond', which should now be in Beast Mastery. Please Anet! Give us a strong bond with our pets that makes us love them again! 1 1

No for the swap, yes for the duration. 12 minutes ago, Dib.4612 said: Furthermore, improve the stats on our pets so that they can rival Mechs! Mechs are going to be nerfed at a later date, so no. Dib.4612
Forgot to add, that 480 ferocity on the pet is from Signet of the Wild and Pet's Prowess. So base pet ferocity is 0 as of now.

Could you at least say why not? And regardless of mech nerfs, pets and mechs should do similar damage and support. Furthermore I disagree with mech nerfs as they try to make the mechs more like rangers pets, but ranger pets have been in a really bad place for pretty much their entire existance.
Levetty.1279
Replacing Pack Alpha would screw over Soulbeast. They should defintly move it out of Nature Magic though and have it be a straight copy instead of those tiny durations. Funnily enough all our signets could do with reworks/buffs. Huge stat loss for Soulbeast and Nature magic is a traitline that's focused on boons, making FortB way more suited than PA. (Beastmastery is also more of a DPS traitline) FortBond should be removed from traits and just implemented into a pet rework, rather than moved around or stuck with non-flexible traitlines. Nature Magics MAIN application is group support in the form of boons, healing and ressing. All this trait does is improve your pets performance. And most importantly, it would make pet builds actually viable. I would also be fine with this as a base functionality as pets are so low in priority when it comes to boons. Should be base for Mechs as well then.

It doesn’t matter, those numbers aside Hp are for show. The critical chance is still wrong in most pets, I think they fixed felines in the last or future patch? Or was it only quickness? I know alacrity doesn’t work on them either. Skills cast times is also all wrong: auto attacks are every 1/4-1/2 second, still you see canines or felines attacking once a second… if you are lucky. Pets need a rework, at least all the core pets.
