With Anet pushing Power Creep to Absurd high levels, what is balanced?

I call out my Professions all the time especially with Mesmer Profession Toxicity. Whenever I would be pushed to the wall, I would switch to either Mesmer Profession or Ranger Profession to get back at my opponent/s one shot them and log out.

There is not meaning to adapt when Anet is pushing Toxicity bar to its limits and calling Power Creep "Balance"
