Tenacious Defense and Firebrand

Hello everyone,

 

not that it matters but the Valor Grandmaster Trait Tenacious Defense seems to be pretty bad for a grandmaster trait.

 

It is supposed to reduce the cooldown of the F3 by 1 second every time you block with aegis, but they removed the cd of the tomes. This skill is reducing the Cooldown of the Courage passive which is the application of an Aegisbuff which is pretty underwhelming.

Same question for Renewed Justice. Does nothing now.

Edit: After a bit more testing it seems to recharge the debuff?

Also the Tome 3 says passive Cooldown on the passive boons are 40seconds but the red symbol shows 75 seconds.

The 40 seconds is apparently only the aegis while the 75 seconds are the boon from activating after the Dormant  Courage Cooldown ran out. Virtues -> Inspired Virtues and Virtue of Resolution for example.

Wow really? Who would have thought that such a massive rework to the way tomes were designed, along with lack of transparency and communication during the feedback period, would cause such confusion and bugs for existing traits?

Renewed Justice remove the Dormant Justice effect.

Not sure this is that much more useful? Compared to before at least it seems pretty much...useless.

It doesn't. I expected them to keep the "recharge Justice Tome skills by 20%" or something. But no.

That wouldn't really help to be honest. As long as number of pages is the limiting resource, individual tomes will still feel weak. If they give us enough pages that skill CDs become the limiting resource, then we will be able to use at least one tome effectively, while still limiting use across different tomes.
