Cfb and qfb need to pick different middle traits.

Ideally cfb would be  picking a trait that boosts its dmg while qfb would be picking a trait that buffs its boon uptime or support (say weighted terms for qfb and ll for cfb).

The proposed changes dont untangle the 2 builds in the middle column and they just kinda kill that entire column traits. I think left column does this well enough and we need smth similar to that for a dps trait and a boon trait.

Exactly, CondiQuickFirebrand shouldn't be able to use same traitlines of CondiFirebrand, letting that to have same damage potential and quickness uptime.
This next Legendary Lore changes for May 2 goes totally against it. Excludes a trait that could be responsible to diference the pure damage build with 1 trait.
And this considerable reduction of general firebrand condi damage may be too much, keeping its pure damage build not balanced with other classes.

It really boils down to this. Rather than the proposed gutting of Legendary Lore they should have tuned the mantras to where Condi QFB needs to take Weighty Terms or rework Stalwart Speed slightly to facilitate quickness uptime.

   What they did in EoD seems very inconsistent. Mechanist: 1 condi line, 1 power line and 1 support line; Vindicator: 2 power traits, some support traits, a gazillion endurance traits; Bladesworn: 3 power lines; Willbender: 1 condi trait, 3 power trais, 5 support traits...

   A "pvp line" for Firebrand never gonna work: they butchered its dps, self sustain and team support, so nothing works. Best case scenario: in the next expansion they ditch new specs and instead allow spec weapons to be used by any spec (including core) so you end being able to use axe with core Guardian and Willbender. Firebrand will never be better than core Guardian as support and has 0 future as dps or roamer in PvP.
