Advice needed on how to get an ascended shortbow without crafting.. no world events too

I just leveled two crafting disciplines and i m reluctant to level huntsman 1 to 500..

1. Can i get one with golden fractal relics? The wiki is kinda difficult to understand
2. Does crates drop in t3 fractals?
3. Any collections or anything i missed?Ps i dont want to do elite spec for revenant

2. Does crates drop in t3 fractals?Yes. The drop rate is very low. Roughly about 0.8% chance of an ascended weapon box dropping from any T3 daily (including T1, T2, & T3 rewards). This increases to about 2.6% for T4 (including the T1, T2, T3, & T4 chests).

3. Any collections or anything i missed?This guide covers gear acquisition for "beginners."It covers ascended armor at the bottom and ascended weapons sort of in the middle.

   • Primordus Weapon collection
   • Machined Weapon collection
   • Gold Fractal master
   • SAB collections

The author strongly discourages those and recommends crafting instead.

Ascended boxes also drop from Triple Trouble and Tequatl events, but the rate doesn't seem all that much higher to me than the chance of getting a random drop from any other content. (It's definitely higher, it's just not high enough to make it meaningfully better as a source.)

Ps i dont want to do elite spec for revenantThat would be the easiest imo if crafting is out.

16/627 is the same data I was using, i.e. 2.5%(the OP is interested in an ascended shortbow, not ascended drops generally)

There is probably no higher chance than fractals since each tier's box is a chance of rolling a weapon.
