2v2 Rankeds and/or tPvP - question from returning player

Yo,

I returned to guild wars 2 around a month or two ago. Before my exodus, I was a huge fan of PvP in this game. Is any chance for some bigger changes in this mode? Honestly, but current content is a bit garbage (only solo-duo queue for 5v5 sounds sad). Any chance for more 2v2 / ranked tPvP or it's already lost and the ship sailed (or even drowned)

I have been begging for ranked 2v2 or 3v3 arena (either in wvw or spvp) with proper dedicated maps for years. Yearsssss

I wish there was a large pvp map without factions, except the party you are playing with(not squads, too much blob). Like a roamer small scale map with pve objectives on timers to contest. Faction zerging is fsirly boring, a small scale map would be dope. Lots of possibilities tbh if anet would think outside the box.

Could open up a whole new way to earn gear and pvp with your friends, instead of the old lets cap a keep etc

@Xarv.3945 letz just say it like this. Its just not a Game mode A-Net wanted to focus to support rn. How ever we might need to wait until they finally finished the WvWvW rework. Maybe we might see at least something after it. But yea thats just pure Hope xd

sPvP hasn't gotten anything (aside from balance patches) since 2018. Unless for some inconcievable reason a massive amount of players start playing PvP&loudly buying gems, this will not change.
