Remembered this comment from earlier this week and had to circle back, as it made me laugh today... Used a similar guide for Flying Foxes location... Ayin lands on the tiny floating island, the Elite Skyscale ignores her while she patiently shoots her stationary targets.... Me?  That Elite is all over my butt instantly... AND one of my targets is moving!!!  So yeah.. maybe there's some RNG involved, or maybe those dedicated guiders are on a pre-patched version that hasn't been quite polished yet... regardless, our experiences were NOT the same!!!

PS.  Thank you Anet, for not penalizing misses on those galleries by resetting!  🙂

Instead of landing on the carts try flying as close to the cart harness as you can and it will count. Right around the point where the harness has a 45 degree angle  just above the cart, not through the middle of the harness but on the outboard side of where the harness angles.

Use gliding on the first row of carts, after you glide down and -iirc- to the next cart, then start using skyscale. Did it on the first try, any issues with doing this might come down mostly to lack of experience with using skyscale? So just keep using it for a while and then come back to finish the achievement.

But getting on top of that tower isn't hard at all (and I know that only because I just did it after seeing your screenshot).
The point is I didn't have any issues with skyscale clinging to anything there and did it on the first try. If you have issues with completing that because of skyscale clinging to stuff then.... Maybe you're not as used to it as you think you are? Not sure, I'm not some griffon/skyscale specialist and still didn't have any issues there.

Hahaha ok whatever works for you. I just thought it was funny. I've moved on, my problem is not game ability but old age and not being able to maneuver it. But that is sad so have fun with whatever makes you happy.

Thank you to everyone for their suggestions, but the main point is all that work, plus 34 other tasks for 1 mastery point shows how far Risk vs Reward is out of control. If they want this type of ach give it a better reward, an ascended trinket would be good. But one mastery point? Just ridiculous.

I'm not sure. I know for at least one, I missed hitting the mark 2 or 3 times in a row - because the skyscale kept grabbing onto the side of the bucket - and still got it. It feels like they at least doubled the time.

Edit: Seems my problem was solved by doing these first, without doing any other chests in other regions, but cannot confirm.

I have a problem with #32 and #34: I cannot see the markers. I have tried doing these two based on videos and some others that have tried to help me, but nothing works.

Ideas ?
