I thought that scarred ice sheet would be slippery to walk on but nope. It's just a smaller version of ice sheet with ice surface skin, nothing more. And, sooo expensive >.>

yeah i was disappointed about the sheets not being slippery.  Would have been a nice ice skating pond.  And, too expensive.  Between this and the kryptis/astral/academic decorations I hope this is not a trend.

The thing with Slippery Slope is that you slide on every ground surface not just ice sheet. Well, maybe better than nothing but still for such an expensive decoration they could have added some effects to it. I too hope that this is not the trend now, expensive and/or grindy mats for meh decorations.
