Mini Amnytas Stormscale

I was just looking at this in the list of Festive Prizes, and it looks great, but... does it not fly? The preview doesn't show it flying... I hate to be That Person, but it'd be kind of disappointing if it didn't.

The stormscales don't really fly much either, just kind of roam about.  The skyscale hatchlings don't fly either.

I posted on it in Bugs.  The lack of flight is fine by me, but the animation is weird.  At idle it fans its wings around and occasionally folds them.  But at a run (like if you run 20 feet and watch it catch up) it slides along the ground with its wings up and slightly quivering, its little legs and feet twinkling under it, but its body not moving.  Moreover, it's slightly angled so it's facing diagonally to its direction of movement.  I confirmed with a friend that she saw it too, it wasn't just client-side weirdness.

They animated Aurene minis nicely with a bounding body when running so this one is puzzling.

Anyone else notice that it can be put in the Mystic Forge? Don't know what else it works with.
