Because 2v1 is weighted in favor of the 2. The duoq has communication, they don't have to deal with at least 1 AFK or thrower, gots build synergy, and coordination. The only thing they really lack that a soloq has is a spine. Gumption. Integrity. They're going up against soloq players in a group of 2. Their random teammates are rarely if ever going to communicate and even if they do, it has to be through text chat. The soloq player are completely at the mercy of the matchmaker to give them teammates that aren't going to afk or throw. It's pure chance if their build synergizes well with their random teammates, and the only way they can coordinate is with in-game pings and even then it's very likely nobody is going to pay attention. Lighter.5631 Posted March 3 Share Posted March 3 (edited) duoq basically ruin games due to lack of population to balance the rating, it's often duoq teamed with gold 1 and fight enemy team full of gold 3 basically comes down to how fast the duoq farm enemy team, while enemy team farm duoq's teammate. kitten experience for all of them, and completely thrown any other 5v5 strategy out of the window and becomes team death match. duoq refuse to cap, because farming enemy is the only way to win, for one moment they stop farming enemy, that means their teammate is getting farmed. so duoqs teammate are reduced to canon fodder or capping bot NPCs. basicallly gives kitten experience to every one specially the new players Edited March 3 by Lighter.5631 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Throwers are some other problem that has nothing to do with this. People that wants to climb that are solo should also play meta builds? So lets say this. This could mean DPS/support where the support constantly follows their duo around playing prison queen for them, or just 2 big-burst DPS that delete healthbars in an eyeblink. In my experience, usually the latter. Full comp teams already allowed in Unranked so no one would care about duo there. But the Top 100 currently need that DuoQ safety net, I'm finding this out the more I play against them.
