make axe ranged maybs?

auto should be the same chain of attacks but ranged, make the ambush 600 ranged seeking. 2 can fade backwards instead, and leave a clone behind, and 3 can stay the same.

The Ambush is already kind of a ranged attack so I don't know what you are asking for here since 2 and 3 skills are melee.

Nah. Mesmer has enough ranged options and only two melee options, and a melee condi option was one of the biggest requests by mesmer players pre-PoF. Making it ranged would be going backwards.

I don't see why it needs to be ranged. It is a pretty good PvP weapon already. For PvE, it hurts from hard-to-control movement in skill 2 and 3. If anything, maybe give 3 a non-random version you can choose from?

Beat me to it. We have a grand total of TWO melee weapons, and in addition to that 600 is the ABSOLUTE WORST range in the game. Either be ranged or be melee, stop splitting the baby.
