Rifle or Longbow?

Just a genuine question. What warrior range weapon would you guys prefer in something like PVE?

Rifle for power build, Longbow for Condi build. Pretty straightforward. Neither with Spellbreaker, the spec wants you to melee as much as possible to abuse Full Counter.

would only use rifle if you have gunflame tbh. otherwise LB is a better choice.

both are poor choices for group content tho, and open world is so easy anything works. jus regular PvE things

Longbow because it is just such a useful and flexible weapon.

Especially in raid encounters.

longbow is better, but I like rifle as a weapon better. movement is limited when u use a longbow, rifle is much more fluid.

Longbow is better for both condition and power. Longbow completely outclasses Rifle.

I generally expect that if a warrior is using rifle, it is for gunflame.

And for solo content, having your second weapon be ranged isn't unreasonable.

I approach open world/story instances with greatsword/rifle and switch, depending on range.
