Tinker.6924 Posted May 25, 2019 Share Posted May 25, 2019 I've noticed that occasionally while I'm in combat and merged that my soulbeast ranger is unmerged from his pet without dying or going into the down state. I've also noticed that transitioning from water to land also unmerges me as does getting my mount killed while riding. What other things, especially stuff in combat, can knock the pet out of me? ChronoPinoyX.7923 Posted May 25, 2019 Share Posted May 25, 2019 Being unmerged from pet without going into downstate might be due to you having Eternal Bond Trait up which causes you to unmerge from pet instead of getting instantly downed https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Eternal_BondAs for other stuff, the only other one I can think of is when using mount engage skills.
