About the whole benchmark thing. Let's take this away from GW2 and go into some other territory. For example CPUs. (Also all those numbers are completly arbitrary. It's the general concept I want to show).We have a CPU A, a quad core with 3,0GHz and CPU B, a dual core with 3,5 GHz. Armin and Bob are Benchmarking these CPUs.Armin is using Software that has been going through several design processes and is highly optimized to test a wide range of CPUs. His results are:CPU A: 10 GFLOPS | CPU B: 5.8 GFLOPSBob wrote his own Software to benchmark the CPUs. His results are:CPU A: 2.5 GFLOPS | CPU B: 2.9 GFLOPS

Why is Bobs Benchmark so much worse? He didn't attribute for multithreading and effectivly only benchmarked a single core.Now let's introduce Chris, who has no idea of CPU's and sees Bobs results. So he decides to buy CPU B. Only after he gets told that there is another site that benchmarked these CPUs on a higher standard and Chris sees that he bought a CPU that is only about half as good as it could be. Is it enough for him? Maybe. Will it always be enough for him. Probably not.

I realize that the numbers in GW2 are different and closer together. What I want to point at is the general principle. Looking at Armin and his statement to have used the most optimized Software, you know that his Benchmark is within the 99th percentile. Looking at Bobs statement that he used his own software, you have no idea where his benchmark is, which results in the wrong conclusion.

And that's the problem I have with Kitty's benchmarks.

these aren't "the best of 50 tries"-type benchmarks, but what Kitty could pull off within 8 tries

Kitty's a kitten player with high ping, slow mind and reaction time

And the ping isn't the main issue, but depression and meds slowing the brain and making focusing difficult.

Couldn't really do 8 tries on every build right away 'cause foods are very costy and Kitty's benchmarking time is currently very limited 'cause part-time work and inability to focus well enough 80% of time.

Well, even if Kitty tried 50 times, she prolly couldn't pull more than 1k better benchmark on most of these builds due to heavy tendency of messing up at some point and simply too slow visual reaction time for some swaps.

So, what I'm seeing is that your data is inconsistent, you lack any discipline or know-how of conducting even the most basic of data-collecting, and even when you do collect data, you have so many interruptions and personal issues that what data you did collect is highly contaminated and inaccurate.

And these quotes are just from page 1 of this thread. I can keep digging for replies of you basically admitting that what data your provided us is BAD data and highly inaccurate, but I won't bother.

It's a collection of anecdotes you gathered by whacking on a dummy like a chimp with a machine gun.Sorry you wasted your time.

Then go do it and post the results? Thats a ludicrous amount of time and effort. Not to mention some benchnarks are just rng farmed to get the best result. Take this data as it is, which is "this is the damage you could get with minimal practice."

That is still useful data.

I have myself seen my friend pick up and play base power mesmer, took it to his first ever Keep Construct fight, and beat out a Weaver. Its just that much of a pick up and play build that deals good, respectable damage.

I've worked with people who struggle to get those benchmarks from QT on meta builds eho never get close in actual fights due to missing support from allies that these builds assume you will have.

This is why i like Kitty's project as well as Raidar. They set more realistic expectations for your normal raider.

There are multiple threads she posted like this, and always gets the same response of getting blacklisted completely. And while she may try to play the arrogance portion off as trolling, she's been doing this for years. And i doubt this person has the dedication to keep such a ruse going. However the main purpose of this post was for people that keep claiming that observations notice by others about her personality, and why they keep getting mixed into other criticisms, are not unfounded.
