With the return of the Marionette could we revisit the ancient karka?

I'm looking at it objectively.

 

Looking at the meta, you'll see that there's nothing all that unique about the events which you wouldn't already see elsewhere.  Claiming points, escorting NPCs, and defending NPCs are event types which you see everywhere in the game.  Replace any of those with karka and you have pretty much the same thing.  You have multiple defend against reinforcement objectives where the bar progresses very slowly (30+ minutes each).  Minor objectives with rocks and vents to break up the monotony (took around a minute to complete those objectives) while 90% of the that part of the meta was just fighting endless adds while waiting for the bar to progress multiple times.   The Ancient Karka fight itself lasted only about 5 minutes with it's attacks no different than what you would encounter fight the other karka to include the Karka Queen.

 

Other than it being the first map-wide meta, and the beginning of LS1, it really wasn't all that unique or special.

It was very unique. It crossed two maps, wrecked LA, precursors dropped like never before and never after, more ppl dc'd due to servers not being up to the task at the time and couldn't participate even though they were online. It's one of only two unique events to completely change a major hub. ( might be wrong...scarlet and karka...can't think of any others)

You could say that about pretty much any part of the game, though. What is special and what isn't is a very subjective matter, after all. Besides, that was not your argument - you claimed it was the same as Karka Queen, except with more HPs. It wasn't. It was a completely different event chain.
