Krith.2314
Hello world! I'm a returning player after 3 or 4 years. Played all of GW and got to 80 in GW2 once many years ago. I've just gotten my new character to 80 taking the slow road to relearn the game. Got to say I'm having a blast. The real thing that I'm getting confused on are the acronyms that players throw out during events/raids/whenever. Like "GM2 starting in 3 minutes" (that one I figured out stood for a world boss event). Is there any page out there with all the acronyms listed so I can reference it when needed? Maybe start it in this thread?I just don't want to start a raid with a group and have them yelling at me to do something and me having no idea what they mean. Plus I don't want to miss anything. TheQuickFox.3826
All those Abbrev's can be quite confusing indeed.Commander: We need more CCMe: Takes stacks of Candy Canes / Candy CornBut for typing in hectic situations, you can't really avoid them. Unless you switch to TS (TeamSpeak that is) which most players don't have/use. Otherwise the action is over before you finished typing.
FogLeg.9354
If you get confused by terms, just ask, either map chat or whisper. Some players will mock you and start to whine about noobs but most are actually helpful and explain the meaning.
