[Suggestion] Existing Back Items as Gliders

There are a few back item skins in the game that would be great to have as gliders:

• Molten Jetpack
• Holographic Wings
• Shattered Holographic Wings
• Wings of the Sunless

I enjoy when I can match my back skin to a glider skin so it stays seamless as I explore the world.

Yes add a bundle I'll buy em all

...and here I was hoping you were going to request the Brewmaster's Backpack to be turned into a glider! :open_mouth:

If I remember correctly the holo wings specifically say they do not enable you to fly.

But even so I'd love to be able to use them as a glider.

The tooltip for the regular holo wings does say that but that was added to the game long before gliders were.

I'd like to see the Glittering Wings have a glider counterpart. They are wings, after all.

There could be an NPC in the Vaults you can talk to while equipped with certain backs to unlock the glider version for a small gem fee of something like 300-500 gems depending on how much extra work the glider version takes.

• Molten Jetpack: Leaves behind 3 very noticeable fiery trails. The trails are stronger when using lean techniques.
• Tempered, Static, Dynamic and Synergetic Spinal Blades. The blades extend and emit ‘hard light’ from each of their blades to form wings not unlike like Falcon’s from Marvel. They'd leave 2 subtle colored trails from their nozzles when using lean techniques, matching the color of the back: Orange, red, blue, green.
• Sunless, Holographic and Holographic Shattered wings. The glider version is larger, and uses a rig similar to crystalline and destroyer wings to flap.
• Toxic Spore. As a glider, the seed attaches to the back, the feathers extend, and they spin like a gyrocopter. They spin faster when leaning forward and slower when leaning back. This rig could also be used for a Gyro back and glider combo.
• Books: Right now all books excepting Mad King’s Memories use the same “forgotten seal” skin. They would be given each their own skin. As gliders, the books would open, and the pages would extend and form wings. The pages would have colors and effects based on the book. For example, Yakkington’s book would have green grass pages and would leave a trail of red iris flowers, while the Book of Secrets would have purple pages and leave a crystal trail, Koss would have golden and sandy pages and leave a sandy trail, mad king’s memoires an orange and green smokey trail, and the completed memoires a green and orange fiery trail.
• Super Adventure Backs: The back would extend two blocky pixelish holographic wings and leave a pixelated trail matching the color of the back.
• The Wayfarer's Henge: Branches grow into two wings. Leaves behind a trail of primordial orchids.
• The White Mantle Scroll: The scroll falls from the back and extends forward under the character, who rides it like the magic carpet.
• Branded Backpiece: Same as the holographic shattered wings, but without the hologrpahic translucency and the same branded crystal colors as the branded backpiece.
• Glittering Wings Backpack: The firefly-like wings extend to the sides and flutter while gliding.
• Zephyrite catchers: The corresponding sun, wind, or lightning zephyrite kite appears like a handglider.

And so on.
