1) Reading about Abbadon, the wiki says that Abbadon that he had influence in the Searing of Ascalon, but in the page about of the event, I did not find which "link" between Abbadon and the Searing. Does anyone know what the link is?

2) The prophecy ( The time has come. You ready to fulfill a prophecy? ) that Livia mentions in LS3 to the commander, has any basis in the game lore, or came from nowhere? Was it just an allegorical expression without major significance?

Rather than Abaddon leads the titans, it might be more accurate to say that the titans were lent to Abaddon by Dhuum. Though it's not entirely clear which is the ultimate maker of titans (if either), the titans were being made by The Fury, a general of Dhuum, who was the defacto leader of said titans as well. But Abaddon did cause the Searing through the titans, who had given the Flame Legion the Cauldron of Cataclysm and from that cauldron the other many Searing Cauldrons we see throughout Prophecies, Eye of the North (the one seen in EotN is believed to be the Cauldron of Cataclysm since it was in the then primary Flame Legion fortress), Iron Marches, Straits of Devastation, and the Priory Orr PS came from.

That Prophecy did indeed come out of nowhere, its first mention being in the Shining Blade Secrets instance. At the end of the instance there are a few objects lying about, one of which briefly tells the origin of The Shining Blade sword (a gift from the few remaining Seers after the events of War in Kryta in gw1, given to the Shining Blade to be used to kill the last remaining mursaat). The purpose of The Shining Blade sword is most likely that prophecy that Livia mentions (though that isn't much of a prophecy tbh). If it isn't, then we don't know what that prophecy is.

1) Abaddon's role as the main antagonist in Gw1 was carried out mostly as an unknown puppet master..

All of the 3 Gw1 games Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall had their own stories but all of them were orchestrated by Abaddon who you finally discover as the mastermind behind it all near the end of Nightfall.

Abaddon was imprisoned in the Realm of Torment by the other gods..At some point Abaddon was able to gain influence in the various regions of the Realm of Torment and cause a demonic uprising which successfully allowed him to take control over the Realm of Torment creating an army of demonic followers in the process.. which also included the Titans who are created in the The Foundry of Failed Creations by twisting tormented souls into monstrous demonic creatures. The Foundry of Failed Creations also acted as a prison for the Margonites.. Abaddons most faithful followers and the backbone of his demon army.

After the Charr discovered the Titans many years later and took them for gods.. Abaddon realized he could use this relationship between Charr and Titan to manipulate the Charr into doing his bidding on the surface world. It was the Titans acting on Abaddons orders who gifted the Charr the Cauldron of Cataclysm.. which in Gw2 we now know it as the Searing Cauldron.. as it was also Abaddon who commanded his Titans to orchestrate a Charr invasion of Ascalon, Kryta and Orr.

This eventually lead to Ascalon being destroyed by the searing.. Kryta falling under the rule of the White Mantle and the Mursaat and Orr being invaded by the Charr and sunk into the sea by Vizier Khilbron an Abaddon worshiper who became the Undead Lich after causing the Cataclysm that destroyed Orr.. and the main antagonist of Guildwars prophecies.. the very first game in the series.

It was Abaddon behind the events of Factions as well.. using a demon servant disguised as a feeble old fortune teller to manipulate Shiro Tagachi into murdering the emperor and unleashing the Jade Wind that crippled Cantha triggering the events of Factions and the return of Shiro whom was now a rouge Envoy abusing his powers.Upon his second defeat his soul was banished to the Realm of Torment where Shiro became a general in Abaddons forces.

As you can see.. Abaddon orchestrated everything from behind the scenes.. all building up to his endgame.. freeing himself and ruling Tyria.

2) As for the Prophecy mentioned in the Living world.. this was just a huge throwback to Guildwars 1 and the Flameseeker Prophecies foretold by Glint. The Flameseeker Prophecies is basically a collection of events predicted by Glint.. some of them being.. (in no specific order) The fall of Ascalon, The unleashing of Titans, The Sceptor of Orr falling into the hands of an Undead Lich, A Dwarven civil war in the mountains, An undead invasion of Kryta and the return and defeat of the Mursaat race..

The defeat of the Mursaat is the segment of the prophecy that living world 3 was referencing.. with Lazarus being the sole survivor of his race and finally being destroyed.. making the Mursaat race extinct and finally fulfilling the final remaining part of the Flameseeker Prophecies.

Possible, but the Flameseeker Prophecies never foretold genocide. And Glint herself said the prophecy was completed back in GW1, with Khilbron's death.
