(Admittedly, that is more expensive to buy separately than if you bought originally, but that's the point of the implied discount: to get us to spend an extra US$50 to save US$15.)The upgrade cost for deluxe is 2400 gems = US$30, versus the US$25 premium if you bought deluxe in the first place.tl;dr upgrade to deluxe, buy a few thousand gems; you have the equivalent of the ultimate upgrade (paying a premium for avoiding the risk of spending the original costs upfront).
