  1. So, Leafy McLeafface? Barky McBarkface? Planty McPlantface? Flower Von Sniffenheimer? Polly Pollen? Johnny Longstamen? Mulch McGee?
  2. Changing it to borderless fullscreen also fixed the issue for me, but I don't want to have to play like that. Prefer native fullscreen.
  3. Yup that's what the entire discussion is about. If you had read any of it, you'd see that the largest complaint in here is when a player makes or joins an unlabeled LFG such as just: "T4 Dailies", then there are still players who discriminate based on raid meta elitism, even though it is an unlabeled LFG. So in other words, this cliché "make your own group" is becoming quite the redundant cop-out response. You can get rid of terms like "discriminate." That's ridiculous, I'm sorry. This is not some social justice situation. There is no cop-out. You are absolutely positively assuming a moral high ground and flat out demanding people play this game according to your moral code. That person's right to form the group he chose to form gives him the right to include in it whoever he wants, for good or ill. What do you expect as a solution to your isssue? For ANet to ban that person? Write them an email and demand that they include you and whatever classes/specs you want in that party? Do you want to be appointed as some council member who makes rules to determine how people can form groups to play the game they paid for and devote time in to play based on some Ministry of LFG you created? Mow your own yard before you tell your neighbor how to trim his hedges. If you don't like his yard, don't go to his BBQs. Are you reading anything that anyone is posting? I said the problem is that a player makes a general "T4 Daily" group, wanting to play his slightly off-meta build, and welcoming others to do the same. Then 2 or 3 guys join with are running copy/pasted raid subgroup builds and begin kicking players out of the party, including the person who opened the LFG to begin with. .........So leave the group and start your own group. That's my point. And others have repeated it. Buuuuuuuuuut the point is that a person who makes a non elite LFG open for anyone, who has already completed half a fractal before being kicked due not to ineffectiveness but rather discrimination, should not be denied his credit for the work he has done. Ok so he leaves and starts his own group. What if the same thing happens again? Is that fair for the player who only owns Core, who can't run any HoT or PoF builds? No, we aren't doing what-ifs. There is no what-if made up scenarios we are going to argue here. I certainly won't. The issue is that class balance is mucked up right now and has been for a while. People are always going to be selective when they form a group or are in a group where most people want a certain makeup to occur. That's democracy I suppose. Majority rule. I'm asking you again: What solution do you suggest to fix this? Again, if you had read anything in this thread at all, you'd see that we've already come to this conclusion multiple times over, and that is -> Don't blindly discriminate based on raid meta elitism. Give players a chance to prove their worth first. If they're bad, holding the group down, and need to be booted, no one is questioning that type of party kick.I am not going to read 14 pages of posts, but those aren't solutions. You're right though I should have read more than I did, and I accept fault for that. My apologies. But..... That's attempting to change human nature and wanting people to play how you want them to.

Do you want to be appointed as some council member who makes rules to determine how people can form groups to play the game they paid for and devote time in to play based on some Ministry of LFG you created? Do you want to, by Developer force, tell someone else how they have to play this game? That's the road you are going down. Mow your own yard before you tell your neighbor how to trim his hedges. If you don't like his yard, don't go to his BBQs. But don't go to the city council hall meeting and tell the mayor to force your neighbor to cut his grass and landscape his yard according to your own idea of how it should be.
  7. So to sum up: "Other people playing how they wanted to bothers me." Just make your own group. This wasn't necessary and your right to play how you want ends with his right to play how he wants. I mean no offense, but honestly, was this necessary? Just make your own group!
  8. This is happening to me since the last patch. Swapping between desktop and game screen between loading screens. It also lags onto the desktop after hitting "PLAY" from the launch app. It'll lag, then load the character select, then flash to desktop, then back to the character select. Then after double clicking the character to load them, flashes to desktop and then goes back in game when the world loads. I am on an SSD, so it doesn't take long whatsoever, but doing this does put some stress on people's graphics cards. 980ti16 gigs RAMintel core i7 6700 4ghzWin 10 home 64-bitNo background apps loaded save Steam and Blizzard launcher, usually. Closed those, same issue. This only happens with GW2 and no other app or game whatsoever. All drivers current and installed. All OS updated.
  9. All these pages of people just assuming authority and inside knowledge of stats and numbers that only the respective businesses (Blizzard and ANet) have access to. WoW has LFR, Normal, Heroic, and Mythic raids. It's all just literally the same exact content, with a couple more mechanics and bigger numbers going back and forth. To me, it just isn't 'content.' It's lazy and just gear checks. BUT! Having said that...I think GW2 does need a way for people who aren't used to raiding in it to ease into it better. Raiding needs to be more accessible to people who actively want to raid. If people can get into it better, there is more of a pool of people who want to do it and more a chance that raids take place. Raids are already a convoluted graphical mess where you can't see what the heck to dodge because of all the crap on the ground. And by that same token, I see people wanting to be elitists: "We don't want more PUGs raiding!" Yea, well, population is a thing. May as well make the statement: "We want less opportunity to go on raids if we lose members and haven't allowed others to come with us because elitism." And go look at Wildstar's raiding scene and how it went down, and ultimately ruined the game. Getting into raids in Wildstar was too hard, too gated behind rep, too gear checky, and too much of a hassle, and that's on top of finding a guild that even wants to raid in the first place with enough active players. Plus, incredibly punishing and non-intuitive boss fights with very little or poor rewards for completion. It ultimately led to the downfall of that game, even though it's still 'active' i suppose. I don't have the exact numbers, but most cities are a ghost town. They havne't added a new race or class to that game since its inception. Just cosmetic crap.
  10. I was having this issue, and then I updated my graphics card drivers. I use a 980ti and downloaded the most recent drivers and haven't had the issue since. I hope people get this resolved.
  11. You're right. Hey @"Gaile Gray.6029" , can this be moved to "Players helping players?" Thank you!
  12. Ok, so Black Lion Chest key(s). Wow looks like nobody else wants anything. hahaha.
  13. Hello my fellow GW2ers! A month or so ago, I ran across a thread that began as a way to help people get that little bit of crafting material, little bit of gold, little bit of items or little bit of gems to help them accomplish something they need to do in game. Are you ALLLLMOST at 250 gold but not quite, to unlock the Griffin mount? Are you ALLLLMOST at the total items you need to craft that one item? The thread was a way to pay it forward and help our fellow Guild Wars 2 friends. I am starting another thread as a way to keep paying it forward, as I received generous and kind help from total strangers on the game. I have unlocked the Griffin mount and am soaring around Tyria!! :D It's only right to keep that good will going, sooooo, without further ado: Tell us what you want and why! Please be reasonable and fair in your requests. We all want 1000 gold dropped into our accounts and every mount skin unlocked, of course, but let's let the kindness be shared. I want to help out people because I was helped out, myself!
  14. Warhorn, definitely. "Crusader." Speed buffs and shouts that can rally people and give barriers and what not.
  15. Actual in-game footage of Warrior wielding pistol. CONFIRMED.
  16. It has happened to me too, twice last night. I thought maybe my "windows" key was sticky or sticking or something (NOT REMOTELY WHAT I MEANT!) but it's not.
  17. I would make the Tempest overcharging effects much more powerful, and redesign them. I would make Fire Overcharge cause a very big meteor to land that knocks enemies down in the area and does heavy damage. I would make Water Overcharge cause a cool tidal wave effect to wash across the screen and heal friendly/damage enemies. I would make Air Overcharge cause a Tornado to appear and do heavy damage and stun enemies, pulling them towards the center I would make Earth Overcharge cause a huge earthquake that does heavy DoT during its effects and causes bleeding to enemies in the area. I would make Staff ground spells be instant cast, reduce the cast time of meteor shower, increase water damage and healing, and totally redo the Air attunement staff skills. They are terrible. 1 is decent but needs better damage. 2 is just awful. I would change it to a big blast of ball lightning that moves slowly and continually strikes enemies as it passes by for moderate damage. I would remove 5 altogether and change it to a big lightning strike on a rather long cast time that stuns and does heavy damage at completion. I would make 4 last a bit longer than it does. Weaver is fine.
  18. I tend to do that too, but lately I've started to notice that the only times I get downed seem to be when rezzing someone else. So I do it, but if the same guy keeps going down or refuses to WP when fully dead, after a couple of times I'll stop helping. I'm not trying to punish anyone, I just think there's a point where it's going to get me killed, and they need to learn to dodge rather than banking on others to rez them all the time. Yeaaaaaa...I will rez someone during a champ or legendary encounter twice. After that, you can WP back. But, if you repeatedly go down, and spam "rez pls. help. pls help. plz rez pls. hey help" over and over while people are staying alive and downing the boss? Well, sorry. You get ignored.
  19. "I don't like something that I have experienced, so therefore I want it removed from existence despite other people's enjoyment of it."
  20. I routinely stop and help people, and go out of my way to revive downed players in every single encounter I can. If I did it for you, you're welcome <3
  21. I would like to see: "Less expensive things on the Gem store" and then I will spend more money on stuff.
  22. I am working on getting the Griffin unlocked, but I have 60 gold approximately to my name. Any small coin toss my way would be extremely helpful...so: Gold, I have 60/250 across my account.Thank you in advance, and thank you even if not. I am a returning player and trying to get myself situated. I have quite a bit of crafting material and I am very, very happy to donate to others.
  23. I, too, hate whipping out my scepter and it puts out underwhelming shots. My target is usually underwhelmed, too. Totally needs a rework :)
