Transfer of skin (look) to a newly won weapon/armor

I'd Like to know if this can be done, and how is it done. Is there some one out there that knows what I'm asking?

If you want to change the look of a piece of armor or weapon, you can do so by going to the Wardrobe menu of your Hero panel. From there you can spend Transmutation Charges to apply a previously unlocked skin to your currently equipped weapons and armor.

Transmutation charges accumulate through a variety of sources (see link for full details). Including: doing map completions (especially cities, which can be quick once you've done a few); login rewards; PvP & WvW reward tracks; and various achievements.

Bear in mind when you change the skin on an item in the wardrobe it only changes that one item. If you swap it for another one, even if it's the same type of item (like swapping a sword for a higher level sword) you'll lose the skin.

So it might be worth saving your transmutation charges for when you're level 80, or at least for hiding really ugly skins, rather than constantly transmuting your favourite skin onto each new weapon/armour piece.

If you're leveling, I recommend buying an Outfit that is appealing to you from the Gem Store, and just stick with that until level 80. Burning thru transmutations while leveling is a waste, IMO.
