Superior rune of the Citadel

Wouldnt it be more fun to make the 6th rune do: Drop an artilery strike on your enemys location on crit ?

Or: drop art. strike on ur enemys location when using an elite skill (as opposed to ur own location)

it's definitely strange that they decided to make it drop on your own position instead of the enemy's. It's far less worthwhile this way isn't it?

Both ways aren't very likely to get a hit with it. You at least have control over where you are going so you can aim it better than critting that random guy at max range and him running towards you anyway to fight back

It keeps it similar to the previous effect.

Definitely don't use it with Tornado or the Herald Elite :P

I can't help but think it'll be fun with the sylvari racial elite, or maybe "Renewed Focus" for a Guardian.

If they would make it drop on your current targets location it wouldnt be random, though. :/

the damage is pretty bad and the shots are very random of who they hit inside the circle, maybe if the duration would be double it would be somewhat decent. Mad king rune crow attack is way stronger and better.

the scaling is decent but it requires u to go full berserker, thats why I think its weird that its on ur location and not ur targets

Heres a small list of feedback after testing (in wvw) 6th rune bonus

1: the radius /hit reliability of each shell is too low. you can stand ontop of an enemy and theres a big chance it wont be hit2: it being droped at ur own feet doesnt combo well with nrealy any elite skill, maybe its because of the small radius and short duration4: it will trigger even if ur not in combat, on skills like engineers mortar kit-elite5: the damage is too low to warrant the risk: meaning in order to get any owrthwhile dmg out of it (not carrying a whole build, but decent dmg) u have to go very glassy and that seems like the opposite of what u want if u wanna go melee range, which you have to do in order to hit any1
