What is your Spellbreaker build?

Hi all lets generate some theorycrafting for Spellbreaker builds! All game type builds are allowed, as we might be able to pick-up tips and tricks from each other. Mistakes are great to discuss also in the endeavour to save gold. Like if some one tests out something and it fails terribly it might be worth saying hey guys and girls this just didn't work out. You all know what I mean! Testing is great but try and help out the community by sharing the theories and knowledge.

Here was an early attempt at a power damage, boon strip and all out burst dps Spellbreaker. I hope it generates positive and constructive discussions.

Thanks for sharing your idea. Could you link a build if you get the time. Also it doesn't seem like there are many Spellbreakers theorycrafting atm. I am interested to see what ideas others have in any game mode.

Might swap out Cleansing Ire for Last Stand but the rest feels right for now.

I like the build, power dmg but some defense. Smart idea.

This is what I'm going with for small scale WvW. Going to abuse Might Makes Right for it's endurance gain and those unblockable dodges from the strength minor. Seems super fun. Probably change up the utilities and swap in GS/Hammer for large groups.

I really like some of your trait decisions and mixing up the daggers and axes. I have a question with whirling axe that is only a max damage of 6,960 right? Not 15 x 6,960?

You know i had not notice that low range of 300 units before. It will not work as a combo for rifle or bow, by the look of it. They may just be used in the core warrior builds. It is kinda say to see a reactive skill like full counter not syncing very well with the warriors range option. I guess full counter is mostly to prevent melee weapon onslaughts.For example like one hundred blades from a great sword warrior.

I'm actually not sure. I want to say that it's a max damage of 6960, 15 times that would be insanely high, but I get way more damage than 4616 from Hundred Blades and that skill is worded the same way (8 x 4616 with the same build). Going to test it out whenever I get on.

EDIT: Is the damage number ticking on Hundred Blades cumulative or is each tick a separate strike? That and the crits on top of the base damage would make 4616 seem more like it was a total but that still seems low to me. Also, the final blow on Hundred Blades does "extra" damage of 1206 which is lower than the 4616 of each strike, assuming the damage listed was for each separate strike, so that 4616 has to be total.

You make me ponder at every build you've created. I mean that they appear great so far!

Anyone else up to the challenge of bettering Scorci's builds?

bettering it would me to just not run it, I wouldn't run any of the builds on this page. You may think i'm being negative but theory crafting builds this early without having access to any new gear, food or extensive testing seems pointless. I have some ideas but they all involve interupt sigils and different gear and traits than I seen posted here and I'm not ready to share that cuz its subjet to change once all items that we don't even know about are available.

Look Warlord your a wise person I can tell that and tbh I get the feeling your not being negative at all. I just wanted us to get started early, but I totally understand that come September 22nd we will probably get new stats, runes and sigil which all have a big impact. I also remember that I never really used to many of the class specific runes. Which made me think why not get started now. But hey if things change it will be great because at the moment many of the elite builds are hard to fathom or create. Tbh i hope your right, but there is always room for a plan B atleast we have some of the stat sets in GW2SKILLS.NET. So tentative planing can be made. Thanks for the advice and maybe we should all just stop worrying and chill for a week. Then make some awesome builds. I hope you return to this thread with a great build when Path of Fire launches on September 22ND.
