Just noticed it, and it has been bothering me. Why are there statues of the human gods in dragonfall? I thought the Island was created by Kralkatorrik as a result of his massive body falling into the ocean.
Those are fragments of the Fissure of Woe (Domain of Balthazar), the Underworld (Domain of Grenth) and the unnamed Domain of Melandru.
Kralkatorrik crashed into them during our chase with Aurene in the Mists.
Basically, when we forced Kralkatorrik to fall into a massive portal back to Tyria, the various chunks of landmass he had slammed through (and into while he fell) followed us through. In the cutscene you can see several massive rocks fall with him, and that's what pins him down.
The interesting part is how everything landed right-side up .
Yeahhhh honestly the convenience of all those pieces of the gods’ respective domains hurtling through the mists alongside us racing after kralk and then falling into Tyria perfectly to pin Kralk and look orderly bugged the heck outta me.
But it’s a cool map and a cool idea, so I just had to suspend my disbelief. It’s fantasy after all.
Just replayed the story, I guess I forget xp thanks for the reply.
