Impact Dampener

  • Outgoing Damage: -50%
  • Incoming healing: -50%

The primary purpose of the event is to improve the TTK uniformly, while not drastically changing the balance of current classes. Other potential side effects of the change include:

  • Guards and other NPCs will be tougher to fight against due to taking less damage while dealing their current damage.
  • Heals that scale with HP will be relatively better (Guardian elite/Necromancer)
  • More fights over a flipping objective as they will die slower (Potential roaming/havoc issue, but "fight zergs" should enjoy it)
  • Easier for outnumbered force to hold on to a objective, as there is more time to respond and allies are more effective

Im down for whatever event is proposed,
Id like to suggest 2 things here;maybe give damage/healing reduction of 5% for every ally in the area (up 2 50%) so you can still havock succesfully.

But on the same level of event lock out the warclaw. Because the reduction Will make It 'otherwise impossible to take T3 stuff, and especially on na coverage wars Will count even harder

This will make even less classes and builds playable, as the across the board nerfs will affect all builds and classes, meaning the meta builds will be all that is used, putting most core or other non-meta builds at an even bigger disadvantage since this post totally ignores most of the problems in the meta, that being boons, as PoF specs will be all you will see since many are not from personal heals, but boons, with protection, stab, barrier etc etc. Classes with Invulnerability, 100% protection uptime etc etc will rule, big time considering damage is also being nerfed in your idea, possibly making them unkillable.

Across the board nerfs is a BAD idea.
