Why would I continue reading when you open with saying most skills on toolkits are bad? And that if they were good you would run full toolkits. You obviously wouldn't because you would have one stunbreak on elixir gun toolbelt skill. -

So you want engineer to not be engineer? Not having weapons swap is design of engineer not flaw. Toolkits are actually very good what makes you not take them as much is the fact you need a utility slot to take them, so playing more then mortar kit + another utility tool kit isn't realistic. Speaking for PvP bombkit is terrible and flamethrower isnt great either unless you play flamethrower meme builds. Nades, elixir gun, Mortar kit, toolkit are all great, and medkit is kinda okay its just engineer isnt really a good support in PvP. -

You could argue players that have better stats should gain more rating and mmr then other players on the winning team and lose less when they lose. But issue is stats really aren't a good indicator of performance necessarily, the most important stat doesnt even have a top stat which is least deaths. -

Stats mean nothing and should not be a variable in matchmaking, big reason why matchmaking is so bad is that it does. If you are high performer on stats it will give you on teams with low performers to equalize teams meaning if you are better then your rating you are forced to hard carry. -

You can call Ft scrapper good but you are claiming we are in cc meta and giving ft scrapper as example which is not a meta build. -
Well that depends on what build you play against it largely. And not being played in monthly doesn't mean its a joke its still very good in ranked. Yeah rune needs to be removed not just for DH but for the digusting afk ranger builds. Honestly they might as well change traps to work like marks where you see them.

Well no you aren't expected to dodge, block every single ability and survive in a 1v3 you are expected to die if you are not on a kite spot, which id say is pretty balanced. And if you are not talking about 1v3 its a 3v3 and you and your team can fight back. Only good specs that has 5 ccs is dagger focus weaver and mantra mirage but that one has 4 dazes. You are also assuming enemy team is playing perfectly together and never overlaps cc, throws it into same dodge. If you think dmg on cc was never an issue you probably never played vs a strenght spellbreaker back in the day. -

CC is not an issue, you are meant to avoid getting cced and when you don't you have stunbreaks. -
Well but thief can just stealth and run away at almost every point, which DH can do to some degree as well ofc but you can chase it down. DH is much more killable then a thief, but your experience might be differnet because thief players often greed and die when they could 100% live. Does DH have 900 range spammable port, blind spam, instant cast unblockable boon steal daze ability?

Maybe because you have a support spec that is meta? And people get angry whenever any class asks for buffs so. If you are truly high rated support is good and kittening insane with duoq. And up until the point where support is not ideal DH farms. I mean you have viable dps specs for high ranks just not meta even without DH. Don't think people would oppose core dps guard buffs as long as its not some symbol aids, but DH just needs to go regardless of buffing core or not. This might be a shock to you but balance at low rating is more important than at high rating because more people play in low rating and gamemode popularity depends on it.

I'm not saying you can't just think that Guard mains being entitled to having dps spec isn't justified. I often hear them say guard is not meta, bad. Then you ask them so support guard is bad? And they say oh but thats support. Like bruh, what? So if DH is a meme why do you care if it gets nerfed? Its bad anyways right.
