  1. So guys, if I put the item in the character inventory & open the hero panel, the item doesn't appear as an available option to equip. It's as though it doesn't exist. If I put the item in the character inventory & open both the hero panel & the character inventory panel, then I can drag the item from the inventory to the back slot & all is well. Alternatively, I can open both the hero panel & the bank panel & drag the item from the bank to the character back slot, no problem. I haven't tried this with the mask, but I imagine the same work around will solve the problem with that & with any other items, for any type of slots, that I just haven't tried to use yet. The last time that I did a run through with keyrunners was about a month ago, so for me at least, this is a relatively new bug with respect to equipping items. Thanks to both of you! o/
  2. Thanks Healix, I'll give that a try when I can. o/
  3. Thank you bq. These are old items that I've routinely used for years on keyrunners, strip off of them > bank > delete character > create new keyrunner > bank > re-equip > rinse / repeat each week. I'll have to log into the accounts to see what items were used re: transmuting, which I can't do right now so... So weird how it's across all accounts though, EU & NA, paid & free. I was sure that I couldn't be the only one?
  4. I have several paid accounts, including one EU account, that I've been logging into sporadically, so I'm not sure when this started, but as of 11 June at least, I can't equip the Dragon Emblem Cape, or the Glowing Purple Mask. This is happening on one free account as well. I have keyrunners on these accounts & normally keep these items for use on those characters. I've been doing this for years. I have multiple characters on all of my accounts. None of the characters are able to equip these two items. Whether the items are in the bank, or in a characters inventory, I can preview them but not equip them. I've tried logging out / in / waiting a day etc. Out of curiosity, I checked on another back item, the Macaw Wings, which like the others, can be previewed, but not equipped. I didn't remove any other capes currently equipped on some characters, in case I couldn't re-equip them. Any assistance appreciated.
  5. @Rubi Bayer.8493 I'd be interested in that as well, specifically interested in who determines which countries are included on the list. Is it ArenaNet or NCSoft?
  6. As paid accounts are entitled to one free region transfer, I recently transferred an NA region account to an EU region at no cost. It was seamless, no problems at all. Sorry, just realized that the account a/m was a free account I'd created years ago & upgraded to a paid account years ago as well... so only entitled to the free transfer because of that upgrade. I'll take that confused emoji, I deserve it!! 😕
  7. I've never used ArcDPS, but just in case you are, then this might apply to your situation, if none of Healix's suggestions work for you. Arena has a dedicated page with other options here: Repairing the Game Client – Guild Wars 2 Support Removing ArcDPS# After Guild Wars 2 updates, ArcDPS may start crashing the game. Remove ArcDPS until a new ArcDPS update is released. Open the installation folder for Guild Wars 2. It’s usually something like “C:\Program Files (x86)\Guild Wars 2”. Open the “bin64” folder. Delete d3d11.dll. Alternatively, disable ArcDPS by renaming it to “d3d11.dll.bak”. Undo the name change to enable it again.
  8. To inspire you to dance irl everyday, try some of these moves, or at least bop around in your chair...
  9. Memories... not that I was there mind. 😋 Make sure that you dance irl everyday.
  10. I also received the exact same email on several accounts, found in spam & mailed on different dates, so they're rolling out the emails gradually. The EULA update was published on the same date they released their Currency Policy Update. I played the 3 games they reference in that update.
  11. Because it's not an even trade off, considering a daily is worth 10 AA vs a weekly at 40 AA, which skews the math, I'm not so sure that the restriction has anything to do with the total AA allowable. I'm wondering if it's not a limitation of the new format, the UI being used for the WV itself. You techy guys here, is it possible that Anet is restricted to a certain number of strings, lines of code, by the parameters of the new format?
  12. I can't believe you felt compelled to write that.
  13. I'm not sure if this answers your question or not, from the blog post - Combat in Guild Wars 2: Secrets of the Obscure Once you’ve unlocked Weaponmaster Training in Guild Wars 2: Secrets of the Obscure, you’ll be able to use elite specialization weapons without the corresponding trait line equipped. This will be the case even if you haven’t trained an elite specialization. That means that even if you don’t own the other expansions, you’ll be able to mix and match weapons from the elite specializations associated with them. (You’ll still need to own the appropriate expansion and fully unlock each elite specialization to make use of its trait line—not to mention getting the signature weapon and armor piece!) So, none of this will effect those who don't own the SotO expansion. If you're new to GW2 & SotO is your first introduction to it, then in order to fully appreciate all of the weapons at your disposal, you will have to purchase one or more of the previous expansions, depending on which weapons you're interested in using. Otherwise the trait line associated with your weapon choice isn't activated. I could be completely wrong, but that is how I interpret what has been said to date.
