How do you know there's less content when the expansion isn't even released yet? -
You literally paid no attention to what I said and proceeded to repeat something I already repeated addressed. Legendary Runes will still allow for customizing at no additional cost. Relics are not runes No, it didn't. It just said they don't expect to add an additional quality over ascended for gear. Again, you made up things in your own mind to suit your narrative. Legendary Runes still allow for customizing at no cost to any rune set. Nothing was invalidated. Wrong. The promise was having legendary gear for that slot and item type will mean you can customize the stats at no cost. Unless you magically have legendary relics why would expect to not have to grind relics?
-
And you still will be able to customize legendary runes. Runes provide the stats and they still will. So your narrative that they will be "worthless" is ironically itself worthless.

The actual issue is you don't acknowledge other people's arguments but instead construct strawman versions in your own mind to argue against. I'll reiterate my core argument: ANET never promised you that runes will never change. ANET never promised you that it'll never create another gear slot in which some effects of runes might be shifted to. ANET never promised you that having legendary runes makes you immune to the costs of this new gear slot.

I clarified twice and even provided a specific example. You then pretended my logic was the opposite of that example and carried on as if nothing happened. No wonder you feel disgruntled about ANET's changes. You probably made up all sorts of things in your head that they promised you which they never did.
-
I never claimed to be the sole arbiter of what was reasonable. This is why I clarified my logic on what unreasonable means. The difference between you and me is that I present my own position while you attempt to project a position onto me and others to fit your narrative because without this projection your narrative fails.
-
You persist in reading into what others haven't said because your narrative doesn't work otherwise. Not a surprise since that's exactly what you're doing with ANET.

Most people don't interact with that content anyway. GW2 is a casual MMO and attracts mostly casual players. It doesn't matter how many times they remake those game modes the nature of that kind of content is what makes them unpopular with the majority of GW2 players. The serious raiders are playing WOW or FF14.

It's too slow and lacks the mobility to hit anyone in pvp or wvw unless they're totally not paying attention. Damage isn't the main problem. Mobility and range are. Increasing the damage won't help if you're not even hitting anyone and end up doing 0 damage. I would like to see Mighty Blow teleport without having to hit with Banish first. I'd like Ring of Warding to have a bigger radius. (300+)

Mostly being in shroud is still not the same as being able to maintain quickness forever with no gaps. Rev can maintain 100% quickness with no investment in concentration or boon duration with the fewest buttons pressed. This QOL alone is a huge advantage. The downsides are the passive gameplay due to energy starvation and less DPS. But that dps nerf can be offset if you played QHeal Rev instead of QDPS. Personally, I think if they just decreased the upkeep to 5 or 4 Quickness Revs would be in a great place.

You're nitpicking over trivialities. The point is it's free to play now. If anything that supports my point that the online service is subject to change. In fact, I'm going to revise my old statements because I realize they haven't gone far enough. There was never a promise that anything you even paid for in GW2 is guaranteed to remain the same or stay. One day GW2 will shut down and nothing you paid for will remain. So when ANET makes modifications or shifts things around it isn't "taking away" anything from you. You own nothing in GW2.

The shroud isn't permanent. Revs get perma quickness from just occasionally swapping legends while maintaining 6 upkeep which is extremely easy. It's literally easier to maintain quickness on rev than a harbinger. The only downside is you're energy deprived and it feels passive which is why QHeal is probably a better build than QDPS for Rev at this time.
