  1. It seems to be affecting all of my LFG at times, and relogging isn't doing anything. The biggest issue here are dungeons, namely Citadel of Flame. I can't add or see any LFGs ads... and whenever I do post one, I get people from the other region..When I advertise on the LFG:When I try to use a Teleport to a friend:When I try to step inside the dungeon:
  2. I used to play on EU but changed to NA a couple of weeks ago. It's not my first time, but I've never experienced this kind of error. Whenever I try to use the LFG to advertise and look for a group, I get placed in a party from the EU. My "ads" can only be seen on the EU version of the game and won't show up on the NA side. I don't know what the hell to do now. I can't do group content anymore... @"ArenaNet"
  3. I personally believe that the Elite Specializations was a great addition to the game; when balanced right at least. They add a whole new flavor of variety to existing professions, making some of them feel like they're something else entirely. But I am curious about something, and I would love to hear the community's thoughts about it. Is there room for more Elite Specializations? What else can we add to all of these professions that won't end up mimicking what already exists? It's not just a matter of adding new weapons, but what can distinguish them apart? I mean, we all know that Mirage was going to be something else entirely (about mirrors and pistols) before it was ultimately scrapped. I really hope ArenaNet does end up adding more in the foreseeable future (either via this new Saga or through another expansion).
  4. I tried it. It didn't work. I updated the thread with other alternatives I tried.
  5. So, this happened to me today. It's been over an hour and it won't go away. I've googled around and it seems like it's one of those 'permanent' glitches that will stick around unless someone at ArenaNet looks into it. Has anyone else been experiencing this? Nothing that I can do will fix it. Here are my attempts at "fixing" it that did not work out: Changed characters;Changed maps;Logged out of the game, gave it a few minutes and logged back in;Teleported to instances and the Guild Hall;Joined different parties;Joined custom PvP matches;[...]I just want this to go away, but I'm concerned that I'll be left out waiting for weeks just to get this sorted... Update: The problem has fixed itself.
  6. If gold is not a problem, then you are missing a GREAT mount, I did the full collection within two days for my wife's account (last sat and sunday) and it took some time of waiting but the maps were not dead and she LOVES so no time wasted if I enjoy playing the game Gold has become a problem for me, especially nowadays. I always had second thoughts about this mount and I just can't find it in me to even bother at this point. Waiting isn't exactly an option anymore with work / college right around the corner and no people to help me out.
  7. I haven't gotten the gryphon and doubt I ever will. It's a huge waste of time, especially now that the maps are dead.
  8. The texture errors are happening to other content but the Personal Story, including Living World (Season 2 included) and dungeons!
  9. Well, I'd say this is pretty much dormant by now. Thanks, everyone!
  10. And well, the Reddit thread has over 600 points now and over 32,000 views; the petition that was attached to this subject has reached over 300 signatures and has nearly 20 comments; over 50 people have voted Yes here and the majority seems to agree with bringing them back and/or add new options for this sort of character customization, including emotes and idle options for existing characters. I'd say our message is loud and clear now. I'm rather glad that I managed to achieve this much progress within a few days. Thank you for all the help and thoughts on the matter!
  11. Keep in mind this is the same company that allowed jiggle physics to characters who wear heavy armor.
  12. I'm fine as long as they are turned into emotes. Would be awesome to see variations for the other races as well! But... I'm really in bringing those back since having them removed has a higher meaning than just being two idles. It doesn't make sense for them to be removed, because it means every single idle should have met the same fate.
  13. Poof! That means fewer consumers, so therefore less money. I'm sorry, but that's not really the type of comment I'm looking for. Just because you weren't around to experience said emotes doesn't mean their value is worthless. I never managed to see these animations firsthand myself, but a lot of people do miss them. There's a petition online that managed to score over 300 signatures because of this... and look at the Reddit thread I mentioned. It's closing down to 600 upvotes! Emote packs and more achievements would do the trick.
  14. @IndigoSundown.5419@"Nikal.4921" A comparison can be found here:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xyv7HUltYQI An explanation as to what changed:They changed the skeleton movement around the character's ribcage to allow for artificial breast movement; she also takes wider steps and the arms extend more. The wider steps place a lot more focus on the character's butt to make it seem larger for a better appeal.
  15. There's no need to treat this as if it would be something that would require hours upon hours of work. It's an animation that already exists within the game! All they have to do is enable it back to the player characters. :/ With anet and how slow they're with balance and content, you never know, it may take them a week to re-enable the animation.I highly doubt such thing would delay any potential upcoming patches. Even better, perhaps they could learn from this and actually provide players with more emotes and optional idles with the release. I've been waiting for them to enable these idles back since 2015. I think it's unfair to cut them out, and leave both Human females and norn with the exact same animation.

  17. Hey guys! I'm re-uploading this thread since the previous one got removed. In case some of you don't know, ArenaNet removed from the human females characters back in 2014. It was said they were removed due to a possible glitch or due to the complaint of a small minority. The main thread that discussed this topic was locked in the old forums and the problem was never addressed ever since. I decided to bring this topic back to the surface. I posted this on Reddit and it managed to gather almost 600 upvotes! A large number of players do want these animations back, and we think it's unfair to have been left in the dark for so long. You can check out the following Reddit thread here! Another reason why I decided to make this is that so that us, the players, have a chance to show our dissatisfaction towards this issue. Here are some reasons as to why it should be brought back: Guild Wars 2 features numerous lore-breaking and over-the-top cosmetic items such as wings and flashy backpieces, ostentatious weapons, and effects, revealing and silly armor sets, etc... This and the use of a wardrobe system allow players to customize their characters in any way they see fit.The use of miniatures(downsized NPCs that follow players around), which have been turned into a meme in the past for interfering with cutscenes and otherwise serious plot elements. These were not removed.Players have the choice to use wander around during conversations or even use different emotes if they want to get in the mood of the scene. ArenaNet also showed us that it is possible to set each NPC its own string of animations during these in-game conversations.Every single race has its own unique idle animations. If we follow this whole logic of "lore-breaking" idles in specific situations, then I think it's fair to point out that all of them can fall under this category. Sylvari characters can be seen getting themselves distracted and looking around, flailing their arms and constantly showing signs of intrigue and happiness. I would say that something like that would certainly kill an "epic" moment where people are drying and a dragon is ready to fall on top of our character, wouldn't it?Low-polygon NPCs can be seen displaying these same animations, including new ones that were introduced in the game's latest expansion. The code is still there, it shouldn't be hard to enable it back, right? The human female characters are the most played and beloved characters of the entire game. They are already sexualized and even had their own running animation tweaked to make it look sexier. You won't find many immersive characters in this game, apart from fashionistas and roleplayers. People enjoy diversity, and having our characters fixing their hair(even though they could be using a helm that covers their entire head) every single day of the week gets dull. Thank you for your time! Please make sure to vote and check the Reddit thread if possible! Please have a look at this,@"ArenaNet" @Gaile Gray.6029 @Mike O Brien.4613 !
  18. Almost three weeks for a ticket related to a character here.
  19. One of my tickets related to a character problem hasn't seen a reply in a few weeks now. Besides long waiting, you'll most likely get automated responses.
  20. I don't recall Support taking this long to answer a ticket. It's been almost two weeks since I filed one in regards to a purchase I made. I understand that Support has to analyze and respond each ticket depending on their 'priority', but since this was related to a purchase... I actually thought they would've answered it by now. I recall Support being way faster back in 2015 to the point where tickets were resolved within the same day they were filed. Is there any particular reason why this is the case? I suppose it makes sense when it's around a major release or even during a troublesome wave of issues, but we're not going through anything like that the moment, which does make me worry. I've also noticed that it's usually the same "GMs" who respond to the tickets in question, and I remember there being more people in this line of work. Has ANet shared any information in regards to this? If not, what are your thoughts on the matter?
  21. I would love to see the Dread Quiver back into the Gem Store. It's been so long since I saw it and have been dying to get my hands on it.
  22. I suppose there's nothing but to deal with it. It's not a huge issue, only happens here and there and it's during loading screens. It won't affect your performance or anything like that. I have the same issue.
  23. ArenaNet, amazing timing. Not only are other countless companies, especially ones that are behind huge Triple A games being flamed for similar business practices, you decided to do the same MONTHS after the outrage began? Better late than ever, am I right? Good thing I quit not too long ago. It'll be fun watching this go down in flames, though.
  24. Running animations are different? I hadn't noticed anything. Only thought it was the idle animations. Looking at running animation right now and it looks the same back in 2012. There you go:https://youtu.be/Xyv7HUltYQI
