I do run into this from time to time. When in a Squad/Party, I would like to see them check that status and then increase the limit. I too have needed to share foods/items with party/squad members and after 2-3 emails gotten the suppression message. This often delays us, as some times it takes almost 20 mins to get 4 emails to go out. Also, every year at Wintersday, my mesmer Santa Odin, hangs out in some of the major locales and hands out Wintersday Gifts to random people who stop by and say "Hi" or greet myself or others with a "Happy Wintersday", etc. I also host a Wintersday Theme Night in WvW for my home server (Henge of Denravi) and hand out Wintersday gifts to all those who attend and join our Theme Night Squad. These situation also tend to result in the suppression message. So my suggestion is: Check the "party/squad/friend list" status, and up the limit in those cases. As far as public goes...at least give us 4 or 5 emails before you go suppressing...not start after 2. Its a QoL thing, so maybe a dev can work it in sometime soon. :)

It does...due to life in general, I started this late and had only finished my first pass through the achieve before this issue hit and stopped me cold...so I am sitting at 0/10 with several keys...just waiting. :)

I've wanted the Kodan since pre-release video and lore release for them. But I also really like the lore of the Largos. I went with Kodan for my vote, but I like them both so much, that either would make me very very happy. :)

ok...after reading some of the last few posts...lets all breathe. I'm an "old-timer" on this thread. I asked for assistance with Charged Lodestones and Wintersday Drinks that anyone had spare(I kept a running count of each one in my thread updated anytime I added to it or someone sent me some), and had many help me out in creating Mjolnir and Winter's Presence. (Granted, I did this before the hard and fast rule of "ask for 1 thing" was set. Just remember asking for "1 thing" can be help with mats for a specific item, like we have seen in posts like "250 mitril ingots, and 250 elder wood logs" to make the Legendary "Thing-A-Ma-Bob". Just only ask for help for the "1 thing". Asking for a Legendary or Precursor outright is not a bad thing, but don't expect it to be granted, cause its just not very likely. If it does happen, Congrats! You won the lottery that day. :) And do try to keep it at 1 thing if its something like that. I as well have played since Betas and have exactly 0 Legendaries. I am working on Crafting my first9 and it is taking a long kitten time), but I have never seen a precursor drop or anything. Remember: We all play this game to have fun.Please try to keep the spirit of the original idea(asking for help with mats or completing something in game and perhaps a "reasonable" gemstore item(yes yes, I know, 'reasonable' can vary from person to person...just use common sense and don't be greedy), but not really for a gift of a high dollar/ticket item) of this thread alive and part of any request you make.Be Excellent to each other. Hey all...maybe we can add enough info to this to get it made into a "Sticky" for the Ranger Section.I have one LVL 80 Sylvari Ranger that has all the pets. I just used my instant LVL 80 on a Human Ranger, and I need to get him the pets.I know we can get Multiple Pets in each of the Starter Cities and LA(some are duplicates), also I know of Lightfoot Passage just outside of Fort Trinity where you can get multiple Pets.I'll include these in the list below. If anyone knows of other multiple-pet locations, please add in the comments and I will edit my initial post to include them.I had all the pets for a long time before HoT and then PoF, so I can't remember if I found the core pets in other "multi-pet" locations...its just been too long. Only Multiple Pet Locations will be listed. The ones you have to hunt down in their native habitats are easily searchable on the GW2 wiki...but maybe this can give new and veteran rangers a jump start. The other thing to do, once we comment here...is not buy them...until we get to choose the ones we want. I mean do the math ANET peoples...you would get at least $30-50 out of me for $5/skin if I choose them. Mulitply that by lets say 1/3 of the player base. That's a good chunk of cash. You lose that much when we don't buy any, because RNG a skin i won't use and its a wasted 400 Gems...and I hate wasting my $$. Its plain to see, if we express our disappointment here...and act on our disappointment in game by not buying any of the "Licenses". I would hope people will pay attention. Thanks Gaile, for passing along our feedback and bringing it to peoples attention.

Just to add in. I am fine with them each being 400 Gems. That's like $5 a skin. IF I could just buy the ones I want. I do not like all of them...I do not WANT all of them. I was prepared to buy between 7-10 of them(I'm a theme geek...got an Icy Ranger that needs the icy bunny, Electric Raptor for my Ele, etc.)...but I have to say (I live under a rock, because i did not realize they were RNG until I got onto the forums today) since I now know they are RNG...I won't be buying any of them, because if I get one I don't like, I'll never use it, I can't sell it, or trade it...that is a waste of my Gems. ANET, if you let us buy the ones we want...you'll get my $$$. Until then...I'll keep it. (Note: I'd easily pay 500-800 Gems for a skin I actually WANT. I wouldn't get them all at once, but over a few weeks I'd have them, and ANET woudl have my money. :) ) I was really excited about these. Now, not so much.

No worries. It never hurts to post...just don't get your hopes up. :) Its tough to get a precursor...I've played since beta and N-E-V-E-R had a precursor drop. I encourage you to pursue crafting a precursor since that has been added. I am working on Nevermore and it is taking a while. (DISCLAIMER: I am NOT asking for anything along those lines, so please DO NOT SEND ME ANYTHING!! This thread helped me gather mats for Mjolnir and Winter's Presence way back toward the beginning of the original thread. This community is awesome!) I am slowly gathering things and saving some gold for when I need to buy some things. Someone would have to be VERY kind just to give you a Precursor...it has happened...but its very rare. If ever you need help getting to someplace or beating something in the journey to crafting a Legendary, please let folks on here know. Many offer to help if you can catch them in game or set something up in advance. Good Luck!

As a long time supporter of this thread, I just want to encourage everyone to read older threads, and reach out to people via in-game mail to see if they are still in need of what they asked for if you find something you could help out with. Sometimes, players are great about coming back and updating their post...sometimes they are not. :) I am one of the players that benefited form this thread, as I had great help gathering Charged Lodestones and Holiday Drinks to craft a Mjollnir and Winter's Presence. I kept a running tab in the old thread on where I was, and from time to time, even though my request had many pages after it...I would receive a mail with a few stones or drinks...they all helped and added up. With the help I received here, help from my guildies, my own gathering work, and a little luck from a BLC drop I finished my items. So, it can be done, and the group of people who watch this thread regularly are very apt to help others. I am more of a mats and goals/achievements helper rather than a gem store helper, so feel free to hit me up if you see me in game for assistance with things. I'll post a pic of my Mjolnir and Winter's Presence to this post once I can edit. :) See you in-game!
