And it does appear to be a DX11 issue, as I unchecked the box. Logged out and reloaded the game and now its functioning normally.

I opened the Gem Store today and wanted to preview the new mounts. The Preview Window is not centered in its "window". It acts this way for previewing capes and gliders as well. Its also happening on the Hero Panel. Is this a known issue for the DX11 setting in the graphics options? I have turned that on recently, but I did not notice this happening until today. I wanted to attach screenshots, but I do not have that option in the editor.

I have been a GW franchise player since the jump of Prophesies. I am basically down to being a one-man-guild since most of my guildies play sparingly at best. I am not a hardcore WvW Player, but I do enjoy it a few times a week and have made some good friends in the WvW that make it fun to play. I have seen this Lag/Latency issue also creeping into PvE in large Meta events like Dragonfall, Silverwatses, and AB, as well as World Boss encounters that happen to grow to considerable size. I support this letter, as others have mentioned before, at 95%. I do not support the idea of a Subscription-based solution, as the non-sub model of GW and GW2 was an important part of what sold me on this game over others. I spend $$ when I choose to buy something convenient or cosmetic. Which, I do pretty regularly. A sub would stop that casual spending, and likely cause many to look for other game opportunities. IMHO, and I speak only for myself, all the crew at ANet do a bang-up job with this game. I hope as things start to open up, you can take a hard look at this issue and provide us with an update on a roadmap/plan to a solution.

As a long-time follower of this thread, I humbly suggest you edit your post to include something like this: "Gift of Magic10 / 250 Vial of Powerful Blood 12 / 250 Powerful Venom Sac1 / 250 Elaborate Totem3 / 250 Pile of Crystalline Dust Gift of Might7 / 250 Vicious Fang22 / 250 Armored Scale19 / 250 Vicious Claw4 / 250 Ancient Bone" That way people know what you actually need and don't send you mats you no longer need. Giving running updates lets people who can help follow your progress. B)

I bought a Tank last week, and got the consume animation and no Tank in Decorations as well. Submitted a bug report but have heard nothing. I did get 2 cannons successfully in the Guild Hall. But no Tank. Sadly my "token" was consumed...so I have nothing in Inv to show I had one...but I am sure they can track that.

Unfortunately, Season 1 is not available. The model of the "Living World" changed post Season 1, and going back and revamping S1 to allow for the type of replay-ability of the other Living Story chapters has not been logistically possible. Good luck on acquiring the others!

I think it looks great. Thanks for the creative effort behind this. My only wish is that it was Armor skins instead of an outfit so I could mix and match for some looks. Again, I say it looks great, and I am glad to see it.

I was in the "reduce to 150" camp when i voted...but now I am on the fence with still reduce, or leave it be. We all have to remember...once you do the heart, you can buy 5x of said currency with karma from that heart vendor. Now I know that doesn't speed things up by much...but it can...however...it also lends itself to the timegate issue, as you can only do the hearts once a day. I know, metas also drop these currencies in bulk...but you only can do those for the big rewards 1x per day. Hence my dilemma...even if you reduce it...you don't cut down the timegate by much. I know they have patched the wait periods and such...but i already went through those before they were changed...so it is what it is. Also keep in mind, as a player...I gathered these currencies to get what I wanted/needed when the maps were first released (and after as I went back to pick up minis, gadgets, and recipes...and once I had them...I stopped...so I get it...it renewed map activity...and I have enjoyed that. Its been fun to play them again with enough people to succeed in a meta. So I guess, going forward, I would say keep the currencies as a need...but lower their amount to say 150, and add in another component to the price...and maybe add another 1-3 "drop items" from defeating a specific, tough, boss on a map. Really...in regards to this...YMMV.

You posted right before my birthday, and I would like to be able to help you out! :) Are you looking for exotic trinkets (pendant, rings, accessories)?If so, what stat combination are you looking for? (Remember, some stat combos cannot be traded and are account bound on creation. Check the wiki for the one you need to make sure it can be traded.)I have a max level Jeweler, and probably most materials to make any exotic stat combo that can be traded. So if you let me know some details, I would be glad to help you out. :)

OK..this is from personal play...not based off any meta or anything...though it sounds like I may be doing things very similar to some of the metas. On my power SB...you can't go wrong with the Smokescale for its knockdown and Smokescreen, plus the merge skills are on point for some quick "drive-by" melee damage. I also like the Rock Gazelle and Jaguar...I also use the different pigs when I am out to just aggravate people...:) On my weird, off-the-wall, Condi Ranger, I use an Ice Drake and the Alpine Wolf, and sometimes the Polar Bear. I based him as a Chill monster...and its fun, but sometimes its overkill and I keep chill maxed, at the sacrifice of some damage, but that's a whole other discussion. :) For a ranged condi-style...I have used Devourers and Spiders to some good effect...but that would be your call based on your playstyle and if you want general condi, or something specific. Brown Bear is a good support pet if you need some cleanse in a party for like a Fractal...does his job and still deals good damage. Bristleback is a good range partner. I'm a firm believer to use the pet that compliments what you are trying to do...not just because it may be the "meta". Unless that's what you are wanting to do. But it doesn't sound like it. :) Most of these are easy to get, the most difficult, IMO, is the Smokescale only because he is gated behind an event.

You are an awesome sister. I had a Norwegian Elk-hound/Malamute mix that I lost about 2 years ago...he was 11. He truly brought my heart joy, as Ramona did, and will always, for your sister. The Juvenile Wolf Ranger pet looks almost exactly like him...so on both my rangers, his name is Mulligan and he can run through the lands of Tyria with me...always. It takes time...but I guess things like this can be very therapeutic for us, the players...as people. Once again...you rock.

I can def see the frustration this could cause. I did this on my Berzerker Warrior, and I did not get the achievement(not getting shot) first time through...I wasn't even worried about the timed one since warriors have somewhat unreliable speed boosts(just my opinion). I try to do these first time without checking any of the guides so its a surprise. I didn't realize the woodpiles were destructible environments, and it cost me getting shot on my way to the second position. I did find it challenging, and I do plan to knock it out with my Thief. We'll see how that goes...but again, I definitely can see some frustration for some classes. I really doubt I could do the timed achieve on my warrior. :)

How much Silk and Mithril do you need? Running totals help us know what to send. Lets get some specifics mate! :)I regularly cap out my Mithril in storage, and dump my overflow when i get a 250 stack in my bank, on the TP...be glad to send you some.

Just posting a simple reminder of a few things: If you need something, like a certain mat or mats for crafting item "X"...make sure you list what you have and keep a running total for those of us who go back and check older threads from time-to-time, so we know if you still need help. And once its done, please update so we know you are good to go. :) Remember...you don't have to just ask for things from the Gem Store. Its OK to do that...but if you need help with something in game (like gathering Charged Lodestones...like I did...and which takes FOREVER to do solo), its good to use your "1 request" for that. Not a complaint or anything...just reminding everyone...some of us have been playing a long (LONG) time and have many many mats we are willing to share. :) UPDATE! UPDATE! UPDATE! I know from experience...keeping a running total will help you get to the finish line faster...even a confidence update to add what you have gathered/acquired lets everyone know you are still working on your goal. Its not explicit...but you can ask for help with tasks in game here as well...like help claiming a guild hall...or help defeating a champ/bounty/skritt/etc to get a piece for a collection. I help out a lot with the Facet Bounty for players still working on their Griffon Collection when I see the call out in game...you can ask for help with things like that here too...just list what time you will be on and what time zone YOU are in...so we know to possibly look for you in game and see if you need our assistance. :) Please...have fun...be responsive...there's a lot of good people here...be excellent to each other. :) (yeah, i know..."and party on, dudes!") People remember you...I ran into a person, out in open world, doing some stuff in Verdant Brink...or maybe it was Auric Basin...anyway...they remembered my name from working on making Mjollnir (remember me mentioning the Charged Lodestones earlier...yeah...it was for that... I had to have like 350 of those things total...and they struck up a brief convo with me in game as we gathered some stuff and beat up some Mordrem. They had donated to my collection, though they said not much, but I was able to thank them again for that...because each one got me one step closer to my pride and joy hammer. :) Game On!

I'm all-in on the Charr Car or a Charr "Bike(Motorcycle)" of some kind. If the "Biker Outfit" was more like a "Mad Max" style...I could be on board with that...but personally I'd kinda prefer a Biker-themed Armor set though...so we could all mix and match to make our own unique looks. (I have some ideas in mind for armor skins to use if I we ever get the car or bike...but a "Jacket" armor skin that could show your guild emblem on the back would be AWESOME!) lol I think the "Dolyak or Bison" would be great as well...really add to some "atmosphere" in some areas. Not sure I could see a Dolyak or Bison traveling at "Raptor-Speed"...But it would still be awesome! :)

I sent a message in game as well about this, but I'd be happy to craft exotic gear for you and to help if you need any other advice, since I'm sure as a newer player you might have other questions! Just to clarify, my apologies for not making sure I was more clear for the benefit of new player. :) No need to "farm" per se...but as you gain Karma you could spend it at the Cathedral of Silence with Keeper Jonez Deadrun, to get Berzerker Armor. So, I guess you could say you could "farm" Karma...but if you have gone all the way through and beaten Zhaitan...I'd bet you probably have plenty for a full set of armor from this NPC Karma Vendor. Absolutely take "alaskasnowgirl.6047" up on the help with this and other things...feel free to also message me if you catch me online...but life is keeping me pretty busy at the moment, so it might be tough to catch me.

Cathedral of Silence can get you a full set of Berzerker Armor for a Power (using GS or Staff as Primary weapon...also Zerker stat too.) MM for Karma from Keeper Jonez Deadrun...only gold you will have to spend would be for Alternate Runes, as I would replace the Grenth Runes with something else. There are several option for runes, so I will leave that to you and your friends to discuss and make the wise choice. For open world this works really well: https://metabattle.com/wiki/Build:Reaper_-_Power_Minion_MasterI use different runes and also only use exotic weapons and armor. I also use the Blood Magic variant instead of Spite. But experiment, and set it up the way you like. This is just a good place to start to tweak it to your liking, or to determine that its not for you. Either way, you can't really go wrong with Karma Armor...Hope that helps save you some gold. :)

Thanks for the update. I'd like a clarification. My apologies if it was already mentioned and I missed it in reading through the thread. Perhaps it was and I just didn't understand the application. I, like many, have multiple guilds. The guild I am in that does WvW is just friends of mine with like 5-8 active players, and usually only 1-3 of us on together at the same time tpo pick up some simple guild favor and such. I like all the folks I currently play with on our home Server (Henge of Denravi). I don't think having our tiny guild in an alliance is the best idea, simply because we're casual and a small number of players...I'm being realistic and practical here. And I am willing to join one of the other guilds once we work out how we are going to try to keep our little community together in WvW. My question is this: If I am repping my "friends guild" and playing PvE to get guild favor for bounties or whatever, but then decide to jump into WvW for a bit: Will I get sorted as a "solo" player because I am repping my "PvX" guild(not set as WvW guild) of my friends or will it place me in with the "HoD Alliance" appropriately if I have that tagged as my WvW Guild? Also, if I do have an "HoD Alliance" guild set as my WvW guild, will there be a way for our small guild to go into WvW together when we need to do a WvW guild mission? I guess basically I am asking will the guild we are set to "Represent" affect how we are sorted, or will that default "WvW" tag always apply in our sorting? Maybe we don't know this answer yet.
